It was nice dining at the restaurant but my meal wasn’t up to standard as it usually is. I had the flathead tails and they were overcooked and chewy not light and crispy like they should be.

Staff made us aware of the membership features and food was tasty

It can get quite noisy in the open space. The menu has been expanded and there are loads of tasty things to try on the newer menu. It’s on the pricey side in terms of main meals but tasty.

Food was lovely, but the garlic bread could be cooked a little bit more as it was a little bit soggy Our mains were brought out way too soon after receiving our entree - they should wait at least five minutes after. Some staff on the floor and behind the bar could learn how to smile and be a touch more pleasant to the patrons, some of them come across as if they’re robots.

Love this place. Great local hangout, beer garden is fabolous and spacious with various spaces for privacy. On hot days, they have a water refresher sprinkler system when sitting outside, as well as outdoor games to on the lawn. 4th time here and will be coming again.

Once again, my go to. Went here just for drinks and not disappointed. Thanks guys:)

Early booking, informed table required for 7pm which was plenty of time. Friendly and helpful staff, very quick arrival of meals which were all well presented and great tasting. Great value too.

All our food was delicious and didn’t take long to arrive. The only downside was that it was very noisy in the room and we could barely hear each other to hold a conversation. I would go again when it less busy, though!

My friends had the roast but the lamb was very tough. I had the schnitzel which was okay. All the meals could have been warmer. Bit disapponting

Staff were great atmosphere great food not so great chicken snits was soggy and the seafood platter was not what it used to be the bug was yuk (they did replace it tho)chips were good tho

Staff didn’t seem too interested in interacting with patrons, even just to take orders or hand out meals. Only took our order after we got up and asked to order at the bar. No smiles given by any of the 4 bistro staff we interacted with, felt like we were inconveniencing them by being there. Have been twice before and the atmosphere was very different. Only welcoming/friendly person was the lady at reception.

I have visited Amstel 3 times during December, and the level of service has been consistent. Friendly and polite. I have an allergy to garlic and they have on each occasion adjusted a dish of my choose by loosing the garlic ingredient, not always the case at many other venues.

Great environment, nice vibes. Worth to have meal here will definitely come again.
