Amstel needs a proper parents room! Which needs to include a private feeding area. Yes I can breast feed at the table or in the lobby but for my comfort I would prefer to do it in a more private environment. Such a lovely new venue really needed to cater for mums and bubs! Actually quite disappointed

It’s nice to have table service for ordering food rather than standing in line at the till. Leaving your card for a tab was great also, instead of reaching into your purse every time you went to the bar for a drink. One small mistake from a waitress left us slightly annoyed, as we had a small table for two, the empty glasses and wine bottle weren’t removed when she brought our meals over, leaving quite a cramped little table. Other than that, the meals were beautiful. More options for dessert would have kept us there longer. We’ll be back.

Amstel Club Hello. Sorry but you got things so wrong last night. My name is Graeme Brent Sosich. I booked a table for 2 last night being 7.01.2021. We arrived at your premises at 4.35pm. On entry my partner Yvette Clendon, who does not were a mask, because of medical reasons was asked... do you have a medical exemption? Yvettes reply was yes and your reception person allowed us entry. We then visited the pokies room, purchased 2 beverages and Yvette was again asked ... where is your mask and the same reply was given. Our beverages were served, no questions asked and we proceeded to enjoy ourselves. Our table was booked for 5pm so we entered the dining room for our 10th anniversary dinner. We both ordered steak. Yvettes was fillet mingion medium, with veg and salad. Mine the ribeye, medium rare with veg and chips. Our meals were delivered in good time, but Yvette was not satisfied as her steak was cooked rare, not medium so was returned to the kitchen. The whole meal came back recooked, not replaced with no side of veg and salad but with a side of chips. Continued.... we paid our bill and then proceeded to visit your pokies room before we left. On entering the foyer to enter the pokies room, I had a glass of beer which permitted me not wear a mask but my partner Yvette was not wearing a mask due to her medical reasons. The security guard who would not give his name but provided his security number of 9 stated whilst holding a laminated sign which bore no reference to your club and stated...(copy can be provided). no mask... no entry with the right of refusal of entry. When answered with the fact the Yvette has s medical condition that permits her NOT to wear a mask, the security guard then demanded a copy of said medical exemption. We tried explaining to said security guard that under DHHS regulation and instruction from the CHO, that it is illegal to demand or request a copy of any medical exemption. We requested to speak to your manager and Ricky your Duty manager talked to us. Still nothing could be resolved. I requested a copy of your covid safe plan... but that couldn't be provided. We debated our opinion and showed both your duty manager and the security guard the DHHS website which states quite clearly that our position in this fiasco was legitimate. We were STILL refused entry. Hence I am cancelling my membership. Yvette has informed the police of your clubs illegal actions. I have also copied this message to other forums. Rgds. Food and company was great, but we had a lot of trouble chatting due to the surrounding noise in the restaurant. We had a small table of six and I felt like I had to yell to be heard. I would not choose to return
