Everything was perfect! We last visited the restaurant when it was at Meadowbank and the food a service was brilliant. We will definitely be back

Food was fantastic! However we didn’t realise when we booked that we were going to be seated at the bar! Was an awkward spot to sit with very uncomfortable stools!

I asked to add olives to a pizza and was told that I cant change any toppings on the pizza. Seriously olives!! Serve them on the side then. Also we were squeezed into the corner, when another patron was sitting by himself at a 4 seat table on the same side as our table and not at one of the other 3 empty chairs at his table! 4 adults and 3 pizzas because I decided not to order one for myself seen I couldn't have olives on it. All our plates were hanging over the edge of the table. Couldn't wait to get out of there. Not a comfortable atmosphere at all.

Thus is what an authentic Italian eatery should be like: it starts with friendly Italian staff, prompt service and delicious food. Oh, and also their selection of excellent Italian wines. Book, this place had always been packed when we went there

Our 1st visit and we will definately be back! Food was excellent. Cocktails were perfect. The staff were lovely and the service brilliant. Great restaurant!

Antipasto plate for 4 was tasty and varied. Cheerful staff. However the drinks and food were expensive, BYO not allowed, and the place was very, very noisy....staff as well as customers. Authentically Italian.

Fantastic food, very warm and helpful staff. Seats were good and cozy but just had a few minus points because it was a bit tight. Overall I would recommend and will come back again.

Great pizza and great atmosphere. They waiters are very funny and helpful and the food is great. Definitely a place I would suggest to anyone.

Overall very satisfied with the meal, service and all but it was very noisy inside the restaurant, it was very difficult to hear things. Though i would definitely come back :)

Best Italian place I have ever been too. They never fail to disappoint with amazing service and delicious food! Food comes out in a timely manner and is amazing!

Seriously best food & Service that exists, We drive past many pizza shops for 40 minutes to get there and we always leave with a smile

Great environment, great staffs, decent foods and especially pizza and their desserts, I am looking forward to visit them more frequently and one of the best Italian restaurant in the area

We had a lovely meal with great service. Glad we booked as even on a cold Wednesday night the restaurant was busy! We will definitely be back for the pizzas!

Very slow service. Our orders was not filled as they were busy waiting on their friends table. We were overlooked upon request. People who ordered after us got their orders before ours. Not happy experience. Food was good. But the service very poor.

Delissimo! Great family restaurant. We had a lovely time celebrating a family member's birthday. The staff are great and enthusiastic and the food was AWESOME!!!! We'll be back!

First time customer. Great pizza. Great friendly staff. Beautiful shop fitout. The only thing I would say negative is that it’s confined inside and gets very loud. Keep in mind it was a winter night. I’m sure in summer with the outdoor seating setup it would be much much better. But overall great place and would definitely go again.

Had lunch today there with my husband and 11 month baby. Staff were very accommodating and food was delicious. Planning to go back again and would highly recommend to others

Great food, superb customer service and friendly team. Inside can be quite noisy when full but outside is perfect. Recommend the gnocchi and bruschetta. J

The food was fantastic; fresh & full of authentic Italian flavours! The service was efficient and friendly considering how busy they were. Interior space was small and noisy but authentically Italian decked out with memorabilia from the old country!

Still great quality food. New premises lovely, although extremely crowded and noisy inside. A shame BYO has ceased. Management should reconsider this option. Maybe some colouring to keep kids amused as well.

My family loves this place! We had our usual fried seafood - squid and prawns which is always done just right. We had the Alba pizza - a new favourite of ours with a good helping of cheese, porchini mushroom and truffle oil. We also had the squid ink pasta with seafood that was a winner! We couldn't help but ask for bread to mop up the extra sauce! We also finished with the coremisu which was surprisingly delicious and definitely recommended for those with a sweet tooth and love their coffee!

I went with my mum and sister and we enjoyed their wonderful pizzas, which were to die for, and enjoyed a the warm outdoor seating. Great Resterant for any occasion!

Great food as always. Pizza came out 5 mins after ordering! Only downfall was sitting on the side facing Victoria Rd where it got quite windy.

Delicious! The restaurant was busy which is a good sign. This didn’t affect the service - the waiters were very attentive. Our food was amazing! We are looking forward to returning soon.

Food was great and the portions generous. Service was excellent without being overwhelming. A bit more expensive than other places but it’s worth it. There’s a great outdoor area so bring scooters if you come with the kids (great in summer), and indoors is really cosy in cooler months. Come early to find parking and comfy walking shoes to get back to the restaurant because there’s not much street parking in peak times. Overall a great night out.

$350 for a Tagliere of antipasti I think was very esagerate I will never go back again and I will not recommend Anema e Core to anyone

We enjoyed the food, the antipasto was really good, and so were the pizza's. The place is small and so was our table, we had to place the bottle of water and the wine on the floor because of lack of space. However, on the whole it is a great local favourite and the food is authentic Italian.

Loved the home made meatballs and pizza! Good selection of Italian wines topped it off. Had to loosen the pants after the dessert, but how could we say no!

This is the absolute best pizza restaurant in Sydney. It has that magic Italian charm with the lovely staff. The food is simply brilliant! 10/10 would recommend.

Food & service fantastic but it was SO noisy & very hard to have a conversation. I will definitely go back but I will go when warmer & can sit outside.

Great pizza, kid's meals and service at a reasonable price! Our first visit since their move from Meadowbank, will definitely be back to sample more of the menu.

Amazing food, friendly staff. Pizza's like in Italy, Gnocchi tasted just like Nona's. Cost averaged only $50 each. We were so full we had to take food home.

Very noisy! But the pizza was the best I have eaten in Australia, like those I have eaten in Italy. Service was good, but very difficult to hear what the description of the special. We will go back in summer and sit outside where it will be a bit quieter.
