The food was superb 10 out of 10, the wait staff were friendly and efficient. We were celebrating Mother's Day with a family dinner and even though they were super busy the quality and attention to detail was maintained. Will definitely be back.

The food was great, however the service was below average. In the first hour they served us olives only, in the next 30 min they served appetisers and mains.

We have been going to Anema e Core for years, from when they were originally in Meadowbank. The pizza is still great, but I'm not a huge fan of the open "alfresco" seating. Having said that, I am willing to endure it for the pizza so we will probably just stick to warmer nights!

The food was delicious and the staff were friendly but the place was cramped and noisy. The tables were so close together and my chair was constantly knocked. We spent a lot of the meal shouting at each other because it was so noisy. It made for a stressful dinner. We will try again at lunch time.

Most authentic wood fired pizza by far. All the meals we ordered were delicious. It was also accompanied with great service from all the wait staff.

Excellent new surroundings in Gladesville, seating both in and out. Food is excellent, don't just stop at pizza. Love their frittura (fried calamari). Must book especially fridays and weekends.

Been waiting for this pizza joint to open for months, finally it has and it didn’t disappoint. Very busy but still good service. Pizza was delicious although ordered the “Dracula” and it blew my had off and I like spicy. Only drawback is that it is not a BYO restaurant.

Atmosphere was great, food was very good but waiting forty five minutes for our pizzas was not so good. For a six o clock sitting we were told we had to be out by seven thirty but we were still eating at that time. For a $200 spend I don't like being pressured to eat quickly. Not sure if we will return.

service is ok, friendly, menu options were a let down. Same stock standard, I didn't find a "signature" dish. pizza was ok, needs more sauce, taste...and cheese....

Great food and a perfect night for dining outdoors. Seafood entree was delicious and pizza were good, but our large salad with burratta and walnuts was excellent, lovely service, as we dined a bit later. looking forward to the new place in Gladesville in 2018.

Service was excellent and the food was great. The pizza tasted fantastic, we ordered a one metre pizza, with 3 different toppings. Definitely must try the Desert Platter, that was one of the highlights.

Great authentic wood-fired Italian pizza. Not the cheapest place around, but one of the best. We went for their Caprese Salad (beautiful large Mozzarella ball) and a 1/2m pizza.

I highly recommend this restaurant, the atmosphere is amazing and the food is definitely a 10/10. The only thing I would change is the pricing, other than that I had no problems.

Always one of the best pizza places in Sydney. Great entrees (with some new additions), fantastic pizza, beautiful desserts and genuine atmosphere: Anema E Core never fails to deliver. Can't wait to try the new location as they will open in November!

This place is proudly Napoletano, true Italian quality and hospitality. I remember it in its first days of opening. Still consistently enjoyable. The customer buzz will drown out the occasional fast train rushing by as you sit in Alfresco dining under cover, with braziers for Winter, though days will get longer soon. You'll see the pizza chef delivery pork belly strips straight from the oven and enjoy seeing plates of tasty food appear on tables. My only thought that the large anti pasta plate seemed extremely expensive given that the cheeses were all extra cost on top of an already pricey $50 plate of shaved meat, no olives or veggies and four bread sticks ( wow) . Also the deserts for $12 seemed a little too thinly sliced. Dolci ( sweets) are meant to be generous.

The staff was friendly, mostly young Italians and the food was good. My friends had very tasty pizze and I tokk the mussels in tomatoe sauce. Nothing out of the ordinary, but good. The same for the tiramisu, which was a quite small portion.

Food was fantastic, really delicious Italian food!! Just a few comments on my first visit - 1. We ordered a metre pizza, but they brought out small circle pan pizzas telling us it was the same thing. Fortunately, 2min later they brought out our metre pizza but we nearly started eating the pizzas. I was disappointed they they didn't even check initially and they just said it was the same thing. They are not the same. 2. We ordered 2 salads but they gave ours to another table. 3. They brought out our 2 chips at the end when we finished all our pizza and salads (they probably forgot because chips don't take long to fry). When they brought it out, they dropped it. So we had to wait again. At the end, we were just eating chips... I'd go back for the food but I hope the service would be better. I hope it was just that 1 night.

Very authentic Italian place. The antipasto platter (prosciutto, more prosciutto, cheeses... Yum!) is a must. It is a bit pricey but well worth it. The pizza is made in a geniune Napoli pizza oven and the ingredients used are top quality. Try and you'll be addicted like me :)

Food as always was great! The best pizza for miles. Only criticism is that the tables are packed in and very close to each other, making it hard to move between. Service good and always friendly. If they didn't squash tables in there would be disappointed people missing out on getting a booking.

Quirky indoor and outdoor (covered/heated) pizza joint. Authentic, rustic pizzas with think, bubbly, crispy bases. Good choice of toppings and love the choice of sizes in lengths like half and one metre.

As usual, the food and service was wonderful but as it was raining they squished all the tables together resulting in a very uncomfortable, bumpy evening. I wish they had put a little extra thought into the rearrangement and perhaps taken a few tables out?

Food was excellent, fresh and tasty, only issue was our table had significant slope underneath asking downhill side seats very awkward to sit in comfortably. Seafood board was delicious, pizza 1/2 metre was plenty for four with fresh salad. Desserts especially tiramisu was good, coffee strong and hot.

A nice suburban pizza place. Dining setting it's a outdoor tent. Nothing fancy. Staff were friendly and service are efficient. Two of us order bruschetta, pizza and pasta. Bruschetta tasted fine, but bread was a little brunt and the temperature variance between the fridge cold tomatoes and warm toast it's a little unrefined. Pizza were great, base a little fluffy and chewy and tasted great with the good topping. The little note is that the base it's a little too salty for my taste. Pasta was a seafood linguine. This tasted like the sea and maybe similar salt concentration as the Black Sea. Would return for a local Neapolitan pizza if in the area. But would just stick with the pizza. A little pricey for an under the tent outdoor experience.
