It was just ok. We had a huge menu to choose from but the waiter has no idea what gluten free meant, and was confused when my friend requested no onion in her meal. It took quite a while for the confusion to be sorted out. We had help with another waiter, and all were polite, I just think need more experience. My duck was just ok, I won't hurry back.

Went for lunch Thurs 5/5/16 - Service was terrible. We weren't offered drinks upon arrival. Waiter launched straight into ordering meals. I had to ask the ladies I was with if they wanted drinks. Were not offered more water or drinks during our meal. I had "Signature Crispy Chicken" Apparently this is marinated in lime and sweet chilli, lightly floured and deep fried served on a mixed salad with yoghurt dressing.... It was covered in so much dressing that was ALL I could taste. The chicked was DARK brown not golden and "mixed salad" means a huge handful of lettuce, 2 small segments of tomato, 4 slithers of red onion and 2 pieces of de-seeded cucumber. I told the waiter I was disappointed. He said he would tell the chef. There was no apology from chef. Waiter apologised at the time but wasn't convincing. We were offered coffee but I had to ask the ladies if they wanted to order dessert. The coffee took forever and when it got to us was just horrible. Then came paying for meals. Female behind register tried to overcharge me. READ YOUR RECEIPTS PEOPLE. She charged me for 2 glasses of wine then denied it....while I was reading receipt! We all left very upset and dissapointed. There was no apology or offer of discount or free drink. Oh and because I had paid for my cousins wine in my payment female tried to charge my cousin for my dessert because she couldn't work out how to fix her stuff up on computer....They successfully lost 5 customers plus any recommendations we may have passed on.

Lovely restaurant with a good atmosphere, friendly staff and a varied and delicious lunch menu. Our 80th birthday family get together was a great success.

Great restaurant and beautiful food but just a touch noisy. Service was efficient and staff very accomodating and easy to deal with. Allowing people on big table to pay individually was ideal.

Food was delicious! Great variety on the menu. Good service. The staff served us when required but we weren't constantly bothered. Loved the cocktails. We will be going back as we had a fantastic evening!

Ribs are amazing, service was fantastic and we really enjoyed my brothers 24th birthday there! Try there home made sticky date pudding! Worth the $14.00

Due to a busy night service was a little slow at start. Took about 30 mins to ask for our drinks order. Food service and quality was excellent. Choice on menu was extensive.

The menu covers all basis and the prices were reasonable. The meals arrived promptly and we all enjoyed our meals very much. The service was efficient and friendly. Will definitely go again.

Wait staff were quick and on the ball as soon as our drinks were empty and the food all came out together quickly and it was delicious

Most pleasant atmosphere and excellent food. We had a guest visiting from interstate and were keen to show them a great evening in Berwick. We had a wonderful evening.

A nice welcome when you arrive, good ambience and pleasant atmosphere. Very nice food (large selection of dishes) and the service was excellent. Was there music playing ?? Two of us could hear it, two couldn't ?? Will definitely go again.

Have been many times before and have always enjoyed the food but last night the Chicken risotto was way too oily and the paella was bland (which it has never been before). In saying that the service was as good as it always is and the other 5 people enjoyed their meals.

The restaurant was full and busy but that did not hinder the service, the friendly staff and the well presented and tasty food. It was great to see different variations of food and also the good old traditional foods. It was our first time here and it didn't disappoint. Will recommend and will definitely return.

The restaurant did not have any record of our reservation when we arrived. Fortunately they were not fully booked and could fit us in. Could have been awkward as we were celebrating a birthday !

Always great food at good prices, especially the lunch menu. Lots of menu choices and lovely cakes. Nice to have the option of sitting outside too if you want.

Ashcotts lived up to my expectations. Good food, good service and lovely environment. Very friendly staff who went up and beyond to make our night special. Unfortunately they did not receive my online booking, but luckily they were able to still accomodate us.

Good value for money, Had the Tuesday night steak special, meat was well cooked, tender and a decent size. Plenty of other choices on the menu, a good place to go in Berwick.

The service was excellent. The waiter was very attentive and quick. We did not have to wait long for our meals. I would definitely recommend the tapas to start. The portion sizes were very generous. We are a family of six and we all enjoyed our various meals. The desserts were fantastic. We will be going again.

Fantastic menu something to suit everyone, we shared tapas platter and trio of dips between 6. All mains were well presented and very tasty. We had a great night good service good atmosphere

Food quality no better than pub food with the restaurant prices, sat near window and window had dead flys laying on window sill which waiter spotted reached across table and grabbed with a serviette. I have tried it and wont be going back ,its way overpriced.

Initial service was good but unco-ordinated as we had every member of table staff approach us to see if we would like to order within 10 minutes. Food was very good. Disappointing that after dessert was offered and rejected we didn't get asked if we would like a coffee!!
