Food was excellent highly recommend the Peking duck. Make sure you ask for a break between entree and main or else the food just keeps coming!

The Peking duck noodles were very greasy. All the other dishes were very good.

The food is nice but service was slow and orders were incorrect. We order3d a combination omelette and received a warning omelette. The staff seemed to be focussed on other guests rather than all guests

A quick pre-NRL match dinner. Service was a little slow to start with, but as soon as I reminded the waiter of our need for a quick dinner the service improved immensely. Food was good as always.

We were visiting Melbourne for the weekend and had dinner at Bamboo House on Friday night. We loved it that much we came back again the next night. The food and service is exceptional. All of the dishes were fresh, hot and simply delicious. Highly recommend the sweet & sour pork

The food was delicious, full of flavour and wonderfully presented. The staff were happy, friendly and quick to serve and clear away the finished dishes. The only thing that was a little disappointing was the temperature in the restaurant, it could have been warmer on a cold evening, there was 2 patrons that even left before ordering coz it was too cold for them. But all in all, I would go back again.

The Bamboo house delivers exactly what it says on the box - an up-market authentic Chinese dining experience. But there was just one tiny detail that slightly spoiled the overall experience - European chamber music playing in the background. But please DON'T replace it with Chinese opera!
