Food was excellent highly recommend the Peking duck. Make sure you ask for a break between entree and main or else the food just keeps coming!

The Peking duck noodles were very greasy. All the other dishes were very good.

Good service rendered by the staffs. Love the pork ribs.

A quick pre-NRL match dinner. Service was a little slow to start with, but as soon as I reminded the waiter of our need for a quick dinner the service improved immensely. Food was good as always.

We were visiting Melbourne for the weekend and had dinner at Bamboo House on Friday night. We loved it that much we came back again the next night. The food and service is exceptional. All of the dishes were fresh, hot and simply delicious. Highly recommend the sweet & sour pork

The food was delicious, full of flavour and wonderfully presented. The staff were happy, friendly and quick to serve and clear away the finished dishes. The only thing that was a little disappointing was the temperature in the restaurant, it could have been warmer on a cold evening, there was 2 patrons that even left before ordering coz it was too cold for them. But all in all, I would go back again.

The Bamboo house delivers exactly what it says on the box - an up-market authentic Chinese dining experience. But there was just one tiny detail that slightly spoiled the overall experience - European chamber music playing in the background. But please DON'T replace it with Chinese opera!

Perfect venue for pre-theatre dinner. Attentive and friendly service, generous portions and a lovely warm ambience. Carpeted restaurant so it was not noisy even though the restaurant was full. We shared a number of dishes which were all delicious. Would like to come back for a longer dinner experience.

Loved revisiting Bamboo House as this was our 'special' restaurant when we were going out. So good to revist years later and will certainly go back and won't wait years for our next meal. Only down side was that my husbands main meal came out about 5 minutes after mine.

The restaurant food was catered fmmore for Westerners taste buds. The recommended fried fish was dry and not tasty. The vegetables and friend noodles were very oily. Service was excellent, but food is below mediocre for typical Hong Kong restaurant.
