Bamboo House restaurant

Always an excellent meal with outstanding service and very tasty food.

Obviously given the circumstances, it was unusually quiet, but we had a special of oysters and scallops for a starter which was delicious. The service was faultless and the rest of our courses were lovely.

Magnificent food and top notch service with very friendly staff

Great night, dumplings & Peking duck both very good. Staff helpful & we met some fun people at the table next to. We were able to find some excellent wines at very reasonable prices too! I will be back next trip to Melbourne

Dumplings are getting smaller. Not as good as it was many years ago when Robert and his team owned the restaurant.

The food was good but not exceptional and didn’t reach the standards of previous visits. Next time we will go for the Peking duck instead of the tea-smoked duck.

i visit this restaurant several times each year and enjoy the experience. On this occasion we were seated in a room to the side and it was less noisy than we have found the main area to be in the past

The Peking duck is delicious. It was a bit ruled when staff saw you bought the birthday cake in , the 1st thing she concerned was , we are charged you to serve the cake . I got no problem if you have to charge to served the cake . But I would rather her to offer can we put the cake away for you . The food is great we all enjoyed.
