Camberwell Curry house offers authentic Indian in a nicely furnished restaurant at an affordable price. My partner and I had banquets and the food was delicious and more than abundant, leaving us leftovers to take home 😊 There was only one wait staff working the night wwe were there, meaning she was extremely busy. Through no fault of her own, the service could have been more attentive. I'd say extra staff would alleviate this problem, there was no problem with her effort, she just had too much work to do on her own!

Third time to Camberwell Curry House. Service was great and the food very tasty. What I liked most is that you can choose how spicy the dishes are making a mild Korma a spicy treat and a vindaloo edible without the burn. We will definitely be back again. Thanks

We had an amazing time here. The food was delicious and the staff were so friendly. The serving size was generous, and we got extra dessert. We also got complementary beer for booking online. Bombay lemonade mocktail was super tasty! The chef came out to have a chat and welcomed all the guests individually. Really nice experience. Highly recommended.

Travelled from Croydon North for an anniversary dinner after reading very positive reviews.. We found the food underwhelming compared with some of our local Indian restaurants. Pakoras lacked flavour, the Onion Bhajis were burnt. Took the advice of the waitress and had ‘mild’ 1/2 Tandoori Chicken. The serve was generous in size but had little flavour or spice which was disappointing. and the Lamb Kormas sauce was just too ‘gluggy’ and thick. Chicken Tikka Masala was more authentic.

We had a lovely dinner at Camberwell Curry House. The food was delicious and the service was friendly. The restaurant was fairly busy and had a good atmosphere. It's possible the kitchen was busy but our meal did take a while to come out. The wait was not excessive though. My one criticism is that the kitchen does not exhaust the cooking smells very effectively and this results in the dining area smelling of cooking smells, which linger in one's clothes after leaving the restaurant. The complementary dessert was most enjoyable. Thank you.
