The place was awesome. Staff were friendly and cheerful. The food was brilliant and very good value for money. We were seated outside on the balcony, which was very nice. Even with the heavy rain. The added heating made it a very pleasant dining experience.

From Melbourne and it was the best pizza and pasta we've had. Would recommend this place to anyone coming to Sydney from Melbourne. Enjoyed both nights that attended. Loud,just like us Italians!!!

Bill and Toni's? They'd be ashamed if they ever knew of the slop I was served up. The mushroom risotto tasted like rice pudding, bland zero flavour and cooked within the inch of its life just absolute mush. The waitress said she would replace it with the chicken risotto which I accepted hoping it was just a one off dish. It came out 2 minutes later clearly not cooked fresh came from a vat of overcooked slop because thats what I was AGAIN served up. Left it uneaten paid the bill and same waitress asked zero feedback couldn't care less. Other items in our order were just ok nothing traditional Italian about it however.

We are up from Melbourne and must say this is the best pizza we have had. Would definitely recommend this place.

Lively atmosphere and good simple food with very nice waitress. I’ve been coming to bill and Toni’s for 40 years, and still enjoy it despite the changes.

When I first entreated the restaurant, I was greeted by the classic infrastructure, nostalgic red checkered table cloths and a lively atmosphere. The food was fantastic with the highlights being the Scallop and Shrimp pasta as well as the Supreme Pizza and the Spaghetti and Meatballs. However, the lasagna was a bit salty for me and my family’s tastes but overall the experience was very good and the staff were very nice!

A Sydney institution for all the right reasons. Fresh flavoursome hearty meals at great prices, great service in a lovely setting. Something in the menu for every taste. No trip to Sydney is complete without a meal here

Service was a bit slow but it was Saturday night and the place was full. Food was delicious and staff friendly.

Location lovely as we had a table on the balcony upstairs. The staff were attentive and certainly no inkling of grumpiness mentioned in previous reviews. Unfortunately for me, being a regular visitor to Italy, the food was not good, was no way authentic and in my case inedible. I blamed the pile of spaghetti left in my bowl on jet lag to the staff however we’d been here a week. Even the olives, why were they served hot?!? So wrong and such an overwhelming stench. I’d love it to be a positive review, just no.

Table of 8 shared 3 pastas and 3 pizzas and a salad, everything was delicious and it made a lovely lunch. Call out for the Lasagne and Margherita pizza which were my favourites. Price also reasonable

Great casual restaurant, full of atmosphere, friendly service and great food. It is a little noisy but it adds to the atmosphere.

The calamari was exceptional. Zucchini flowers batter was completely soggy and they left the yellow stamen in the flower but the filling was delicious. Gnocchi was okay. Pizza carlos special was delicious but the prawn was lacking in seasoning. garlic prawns and garlic bread was very exceptionally delicious. Overall was a good experience thank you

Great service, great food. My favourite restaurant in Sydney whilst there. Open longer hours than any other restaurant in Sydney including the Australia Day public holiday.

Food was absolutely amazing couldn’t not fault it! Only thing was service. Appreciate that our table was at 7pm on a Saturday night but had to ask twice for drinks, had to ask for used plates to be taken away after starter and mains came out 15 minutes apart (also had to ask twice)- fully putting this down to the fact we went at a really busy period!

Lovely customer service and lovely food, delicious and generous serving. Very pleasant and cosy balcony seating.
