Great food. Look forward to dining here again sometime. The only suggestion I have would be to not seat everyone so clumped together. I know that makes it easier for wait staff but more spaced out would be great.

Friendly staff & fresh & tasty breakfast fare with a good range of choices. Comfortable seating & adequate spacing between the tables. Good coffee machine making a variety of choices. Nothing particularly special but enjoyable nonetheless.

Great friendly atmosphere with many people enjoying the buffet breakfast. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly always filling bowls that were empty. Food, hot drinks and juice were plentiful.

The food was Excellent, with friendly, efficient service. Relaxing quiet atmosphere i.e. we didn't have to shout to make ourselves heard. Our friends from overseas were very impressed. Absolute bargain with Scoopon coupon!!

There was plenty of variety, and food presentation was good. However, like most buffets, the food was not very warm. Service was ok, and overall the meal was nice.

One staff member in particular made our night. I think his name was Tyson (I'm terrible with names, he did mention he has the same initials as his brother...) He never left us waiting and had a fantastic attitude and his charisma made our experience more enjoyable. Food was also good.

Pretty average food, average service. An empty uninteresting atmosphere and got charged for the wrong bill. Loud unintelligible live music from downstairs and slightly hard to find restaurant inside hotel.

Found it hard to find a park, entree platter was really good, dips & squid were amazing, steak was good & brownie was really good, sticky date was a little overcooked.

Service was good. Starters and desserts very nice. We had steak for mains, and unfortunately it was awful. It was full of gristle in every mouthful. Worst steak every eaten in a restaurant.

We have enjoyed Bistro 65 on several occasions. The service is attentive and food is consistently good. However I feel the menu offering for voucher deals has declined in recent times. But I've no doubt we will be back, with or without a voucher, as this venue has much more going for it - great city location, good quality accommodation and a fabulous buffet breakfast!

One of my favourite restaurants in the city. Good atmosphere. Great food. Service is usually good however on this occasion we weren't given plays and cutlery.

Starters and dessert were good. Mains were poor. Vegetarian lasagna lacked vegetable filling. Water was warm and restaurant set up for breakfast before we even got dessert.

Service was professional and efficient. The food was delicious and of a high standard. The restaurant area is on a mezzanine level, overlooking the bar and entrance of the hotel. One suggestion - the live entertainment, although an excellent singer, was complemented by a very average sound system. Hence the music was a little loud and muffled. Overall, I would definitely recommend this restaurant and would visit again.

We had a scoopon voucher, great value! Bottle of Shiraz was beautiful, as was the platter for 2, steak mash and broccolini. The sticky date pudding and ice cream was delicious and the butterscotch sauce to go with it was yum but very sweet. We also had the Eton mess, this was my least favourite dish, I think the strawberries had been cut on the same board as onions which left an unpleasant taste. but over all was a great night and the service was good! Would go back again

A good value meal in pleasant surroundings with good service. A limited menu but fine for the package offered. The live entertainment was a bonus and a nice touch.

The setting was very pleasant in the restaurant. The staff were good. They were very slow at filling up our water during the meal. They seemed in a hurry to get us through 3 courses and out the door. The food was awful to put it nicely. We had a shared platter which was for $30 normal price very poor quality with the ingredients thrown onto the plate. I had the steak for my main and my partner the Barramundi. The steak was just like warm the same as the mash. The barramundi was cooked perfectly but the broth was a little unusual in taste. My partner had the Eton Mess for desert. This was the best part of her meal. I had sticky date pudding. Where to start with this. Cold, stale, the worst I have even had. The sauce was cold and tasted of raw sugar. I could never recommend anyone eat here. Not the experience we both expected. I love my food but I wouldn't call this food. Very poor.

Overall very nice, the fish with the soup is very outstanding. Shared platter is very nice too. The steak can be softer. The wine is a bit new.

My voucher did not allow for substitutions which, because I don't eat seafood, had a negative impact on my overall dining experience. My steak was well cooked and tender but the pepper sauce was a little bland. The wine was great. Overall a good dining experience, but I will have to look more closely at the menu if I am to dine there in the future.

The food we were served at Bistro 65 was poor. Their were bones in the fish, mash potato lumpy andthe steak was so over cooked and dried out that was inedible. When the waitress came to collect our plates she asked if I did not like to steak and when I explained why she said she would advise the kitchen. No-one came to apologise or explain. We also had a tasting plate for entree where the pit bread was also dried out.

The staff was the best part about this restaurant. We did an online deal and it wasn't amazing. Really fatty tough meat and wasn't what it was sold as. Also didn't get the same feeling as if you had paid the full price. I don't think this should be any different because it's a deal. Wouldn't recommend it to a friend.
