Bistro Bellavista

Absolutely loved the place. Food was exceptional. Great prices. Cheap cocktails. Great servings of food. Love the TV showcasing place and staff, shows they care about staff. It is noisy, so if you want a romantic dinner probably not place for you but you kind of expect the noise given how good place is. Very family orientated. Highly recommend and we will definitely be back.

Everything was great. Had the usual gamberi pizza and tagliatelle bolongnese. Tried the calamari fritter for the first time and it was light and delish. Great job!

Food is always fresh and full of flavour. The specials nights are great bargains, and the menu is diverse and interesting. Service is sometimes a bit slow.

Food was very disappointing. We have been there at least 10 times in the past six months and you never get recognised. A very transactional experience. When we mentioned the fish was not nice the waitperson just laughed. We will not being it an 11th visit.

Food was average nothing to wow about worst pasta dish I tried in the restaurant. Service was great.

I have dinner here fairly often. I took friends last night who hadn’t been before. They absolutely loved it. Wonderful traditional Italian cooking, large serves, lovely friendly service, never hurried. It’s an absolute favourite.

Wonderful lively atmosphere. Rankin cod was excellent and beautifully cooked. Crab pasta was enjoyable and filling. Good service. Was particularly busy due to a huge number of Essendon Football Club players dining that night. They looked very happy with their food too :)

Our second visit to Bistro Bellavista was an enjoyable dining experience. The beef cheeks is a well though out and executed classic. The roast of the day is indeed an excellent version of a roast. The marinara has a wonderful kick and great range of quality seafood.

Excellent dinner and desserts. Great variety of food, and large dessert menu as well as many different types of drinks. Quality of food was incredibly tasteful and atmosphere was warm and classical without being overly formal. Service was a tad slow around busier times but staff were still friendly.

its my 3rd visit there now the food and service are fantastic, they could do with a few more beer options especially on tap, my only criticism was the noise levels, you had to almost yell to be heard

Everything was PERFECT, until we went to pay. We had a good food voucher but were told the Thur night special prices couldn't be applied with a voucher! A $50 card is the same as $50 cash isn't it - as in someone spent $50 to give that card to us??? so then to not apply a special price - makes no sense at all and quite infuriating to be honest. No rhyme or reason and we won't go back on principal and that's a shame because the food and service were spot on!!

Great authentic Italian food, excellent service and atmosphere. Great for groups and families too.
