Food was good as always but service was down compared to normal.

Staff was polite but some of our meals were overcooked

Went on parmi night. Some of the best in Ballarat

Great country pub. Table service with a smile. Meals tasty and didn’t take long to arrive after ordering.

Steaks were amazing. Sweets were yummy and the staff friendly.

Thursday Steak Night @ Black Hill hotel. Steaks were cooked as requested. Salad fresh, & veg nice. Salmon Pasta special was lovely. Service was friendly.

Great steak for Steak night. Cooked to perfection. The Southern Fried Chicken Burger did not have a seasoned crumb as it should. Was just a snitzel and was overcooked.

Service was faultless. Good was very good. A nice relaxing evening for a change.

Food was nice when it finally arrived. Waited 75 minutes for food to arrive and then it was staggered with some of our group waiting almost 90 minutes for their meal. Staff were polite. Not enough staff on for such a busy day especially with the Ballarat marathon on.

Exceptional meals and great value. Five diners and all meals were great.

Food was delicious & so were the cocktails! We love dining at the Black Hill Hotel & playing the occasional game of pool too.

First time at Black Hill Hotel for quite a few years. The food and service was excellent. Will be back!

One meal was completely forgotten, after triple checking the waitress said that it would be ready shortly. It did appear shortly after, it was clearly on the docket and waiting staff could see that one person was without a meal. The drinks were more prompt. The meals tasted nice and the atmosphere nice.

Waited 20 minutes to be served, decided its not worth it and got up and left
