Very disappointed with our lunch, the duck rissotto lacked so much flavour. Service great but couldn't make up with such a poor meal. Won't be returning unfortunately.

We sat outside (with our dog) and were warmly welcomed. The food, as always, was excellent, and the wines, too. I’m a devotee of the restaurant and would recommend it highly, especially for its veal dishes.

Outstanding food, nice atmosphere, great service. A real gem in the heart of Brighton, with authentic Italian that really was a cut above the rest. We had been meaning to go for years, but now that we have done so we will definitely return.

Overall atmosphere and service was great. The garlic bread had too much butter and garlic. We ordered 3 ducks a l’orange and 2 of them, the duck was tough. We had to ask for steak knives to cut through but they were still chewy. Because we didn’t like 2 of the meals it felt like wasted money. It’s a shame because with the previous management it was always perfect.

Huge menu offering lots of classic italian meals supported by a very good wine list. Lights turned down thru the evening showing a high level of care. Young energetic staff with the italian accent of course. The owner has been in Church Street for many years and it shows - they know what the locals want. It is cheap but nor is the experience.

Botticelli is probably the best non Asian restaurant in Church St.

Unreasonably expensive for the quality of the food. Capitalizing on the location. Brighton can't justify Toorak pricing. Very noisy.

The food, service and atmosphere are excellent (as they are at Botticelli's sister restaurant, Via Campanella - I also went to Botticelli for Christmas Day, and it was beautifully done, with lovely table settings and great food.

One of my favourite restaurants in the whole world !

Wait staff knowledge of wine list (3 clarifications on the wine after ordering it) and menu was poor, including one of the mains brought out being incorrect (ordered veal saltimbocca, and the read back was "the veal" and veal sorrentina came out instead (we decided not to make a fuss). Scallops in the entree were also very chewy and the sauce unpleasant.

Pleasure to dine, good vibe and ambiance and attentive staff.

The food was excellent and the service was great. Highly recommend
