Food was amazing definitely coming back! We had the ribs they were melt in your mouth! And the arrancini was the best I’ve ever had 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻

Food was great. The waiter we had was below average and totally disengaged. He also schooled me in the ordering process when I ordered our desserts with our main meal, as we already new what we wanted because we had eaten there recently. He also would not make any eye contact when he passed our table even when I was trying to get his attention. We were the only people in the restaurant at this time by the way. The waitress the week before was amazing, so I was really surprised and disappointed. However, the food and wine made up for the experience.

We have been to capanno trattoria a few times over recent years and while the food was still very good, the service was only average at best.

We popped in for a family dinner prior to flying out. What a find! Although we live in the Illawarra we will definitely be back every time we fly into Sydney. All the meals were fantastic, servings on the large side, service fantastic and the old school atmosphere was brilliant. The only minor improvement I could suggest is to drop the music level and no 80’s bangers 😂 apart from that is was a very enjoyable night

Overall, we enjoyed our meals very much. Unfortunately, as we entered the restaurant, on time and at 7pm, my group was admiring the plates of slow cooked lamb being served. Most of us ordered it but were told there was none left. We then changed to the pork and again, disappointingly, we were again told there wasn't any. This was our first visit to this restaurant, and we were quite surprised and disappointed, especially as the menu isn't extensive so it meant we were quite restricted to choice then.

The food was lovely especially the homemade spaghetti vongale. They also made an awesome negroni! We did want to order the Tomo Hawke but it was 1.1kg and as there were only 2 of us we decided it would be too much. Definitely returning without question.

Lovely decor. I had been wanting to go here for a while but very disappointed with service - the main point-of-sale staff were inaudible, didn't understand basic requests for pasta types, and seem to have no idea of Italian food. Food was OK but didn't blow me away as I would expect for mains priced in the mid-high range pricing. Wouldn't go back.

First time visiting. Table staff were lovely. Steak was meant to be served medium rare but came out well done. Gnocchi wasn't pleasant... Not pillowy at all, just dense. Was very busy so perhaps just an odd night.

Such a great meal, accommodating staff, good prices and F*ing excellent food. Loved it and will be back!
