Good food, good service, good value. Has character, and is well located. It's a little loud, but you should expect that in a popular restaurant. Will be back for sure.

Food was delicious BUT we waited about 50 minutes for food to arrive. Had some pretty hungry people by then. Having said that we will still go back as the food was worth the wait :-)

Great meal, good service. Was very busy however staff looked after us well. Will enjoy the opportunity to come again. Being BYO is a great benefit and there’s a bottle shop close by

Good food, reasonable cost, good atmosphere. The venue is incredibly busy, and as a result is very noisy. So it's a place for a communal feed, not a quiet sit down dinner. It's BYO too!!!

Great tasty Turkish food, beautiful intimate atmosphere and lovely friendly staff makes caravanserai one of my favourite restaurants in Brisbane! Highly recommended! Does not disappoint!

Terrible. After waiting for 30 minutes for our meal we left. There was a couple next to us & a family behind us that arrived after us. They had finished their meals while we were still waiting. We had asked about whether we would be waiting much longer & was told that it was being plated up - cue 10 mins later still waiting. We wanted to like this place and have it as our new go - to but hubby refuses to ever bother going back. Also, be wary that this is a long trek from South Bank ferry for those of you wanting to visit. Which only compounded an already disappointing experience.

We visit from Melbourne several times a year. A night at Caravanserai during our visit is a must for us. Great food, friendly staff and great service.

Great food always reliable choice. We like in particular the mixed platter for 2 includes a large selection of Turkish favourites. Didn’t think much of the fig mouse desert

Great food, prompt attention for everything and a nice laid back ,taktake your time ‘ feel. Has good views from the back veranda area, if you are lucky to get a seat there. Ambience is authentic.

Food is just amazing! The shared platter for two is the perfect amount of food and a way to try it all! Highly recommend a visit!

Really loved Caravanserai - absolutely delicious food, cool venue and generally nice atmosphere. Was a great place for a large group and the fact you can BYO is a bonus!

The food was absolutely beautiful. We got both mezes to share and loved everything, especially the dips. The prawn and mussel main was a favourite. Thanks for a lovely night in a cosy setting.

Our table was attended to once in the 50 minutes it took to serve food to the table. We have had fantastic experiences here in the past, but this night we were underwhelmed.

Food was good but service very slow due to several extremely large groups who were served first even though we were only two people. Badly organised.

Caravanserai is excellent! Lovely decor and atmosphere, great service - our waitress was really friendly and helpful but not overbearing - and fantastic value for money. The food was delicious - we shared the mezze platter between three of us and then had the meatballs which are always heavenly. It's also perfectly situated to catch the ferry across the river which is great fun and very easy.

Had a great night. Food was awesome as always! Quite dark sitting outside though and also hard to get service. Plates took long time to get clear. Place was packed so quite noisy.

This was our first visit and we loved it. The staff were lovely the food was excellent and it was good value. We will definitely be going back.

A fantastic first experience here. A very busy Saturday night, yet did not seem rushed or struggling to cope with the workload of orders. Great service from waitress. Seafood main was a standout. Dessert also good. Lovely touch for owner at end to welcome us on our first visit as we paid the bill. Recommend returning.

Service prompt, friendly, polite and efficient. Potion sizes for mains generous. Food flavoursome and well cooked. BYO a winner. If they maintain this standard have no hesitation recommending this venue

This was my second visit after I had enjoyed my initial visit so much. The food is delicious with a variety of ingredients and tastes. On my first visit there were 4 of us so we ordered the banquet. What a lovely , interesting meal with so much food we could barely finish it. This visit the two of us ordered a platter to share. Once again, interesting mix of yummy food. The staff were very friendly and quite chatty to ensure we enjoyed our experience. We ate on the outside terrace on a perfect summer evening but the only downside was the seating. Stools seem trendy but a chair with back support is more comfortable for dining. The padded bench opposite sloped forward uncomfortably so I had to sit on a cushion to reach the table comfortably. Overall, a lovely restaurant, I would highly recommend it.

Very quick table service. Food was great and excellent coffee. A bit warm inside for my partner though. No paper towels available in toilet washroom.

We ordered the full banquet for 4 and everything was delicious, offering a good variety of both meat and vegetarian choices. Service was friendly and efficient, leaving a reasonable time between entree and mains. The traditional sweets were a perfect way to finish the meal. We had a great table inside but with lovely views towards the river. Will definitely return to the restaurant and recommend to others too.

Always a nice atmosphere here. The food was Reasonably simple, but tasty. I especially love the breads - a simple food done exceptionally well! Byo also means we get to drink exactly what we like 👍

Mains were very average. We were a late sitting on Valentine's Day so maybe that's why. Staff were good. Entrees good. But potatoes were so cold they were Chewy

Fabulous! Great food, very generous portions and really delicious. BYO. We were there quite late on a Tuesday and they obviously wanted to go home, chairs on tables etc which is a shame but I forget the early eating times in a brisbane! Otherwise really super and o would go again

Our group agrees that the evening was a most enjoyable experience. Staff were courteous and helpful and we shall make a point of adding Caravanserai Turkish Restaurant to our list of favourite dining venues.

Very nice for a lay back Saturday Lunch. Service was good. The food was some of the best Turkish I have had in Brisbane. Will go back.

The food was out of this world, the portion sizes were a good size. The staff where pleasant and accommodating. We will be back again.

Cuisine was excellent and the athmosphere matches the Turkish cuisine Coffee and apple tea was a great finish to the meal The desserts were equally superb

The restaurant was a lovely surprise very nice atmosphere. unfortunately we didn't realise it was BYO, but the staff helpfully let us know that there is a local bottle shop over the road less than 50m away. the food was amazing, the staff were fantastic, and very helpful with advice on the menu. I would definitely recommend Caravanserai to all.

Food was amazing, great experience, got the platter for 2 and it was plenty of food for me and my parter. Will definitely be back
