Caravanserai Turkish Restaurant

Such a great night out with friends! We ordered everything to share and went home with full bellies. The service was fantastic, would highly recommend! This restaurant at the moment is BYO.

Share platter good but had less variety than on previous visits. Should have champagne flutes as well as wine glasses available. Friendly and helpful staff.

1st visit to Caravanserai and we were not disappointed. Great food, loved the roasted veggies and the Meze plate. Definitely will be coming back again

Great food! Very good service! Will surely return to this favourite little haunt. They don't push you out the door; they let you relax and enjoy the evening.

A very good place to celebrate the birthday with my honey. We had a wonderful evening there. The services were good and foods were delicious.

Was looking for more authentic Turkish food, which has been par for the course with this restaurant. Unfortunately it looks like the new management have Westernised the menu too much. In saying this though the food did taste good.

Too noisy too hot too expensive too dark poor menu choice don't think I will want to go back there. $33 for a wedge of salmon $35 for a tiny steak..

Food is beautiful but service leaves a lot to be desired. Very hard to get a waiter, any waiter to show interest in you 😡. Wouldn’t go again!

We enjoyed great food, a pleasant relaxed atmosphere where the waitress guided us in a thoughtful and kind manner. It was also good value for money!

Great food. Generous servings. Adjacent large group was very noisy. Would have been good if restaurant offered to move us. Otherwise all was very good.

Food was terrific... the portions were a little large though. Two of our party has the steak and both said it was the best they’d had in quite a long time, soft and cooked perfectly. We’ll definitely come back

Great restaurant. Excellent food. Great service. Lovely atmosphere; can be little noisy at times but that is evidence of the great time people always seem to have here. Only improvement would be to add a selection of meals for children to the menu.

Wonderful night. Friendly staff delicious food. Bit disappointed no alcohol only BYO but did end up having there homemade lemonade. The dessert fig and hazelnut cake with butterscotch sauce was so amazing!

Busy pre Christmas night. Good service, food ok but not great. Unlikely to go again because there is better middle eastern style food in Brisbane.

Excellent food. Great place for a get together with family and friends. Service was very friendly. Street parking available but may be difficult to find a spot during peak periods.

Everything was fine. Friendly service, decent food. Not the flavour experience I was expecting from a Turkish restaurant though. Probably won't be rushing back quickly.

BYO and lovely share plates. The atmosphere is cosy and the restaurant is an old Queenslander, great if you can get a spot on the back veranda to while away af ew fun filled hours with your besties.

They shouldn’t start packing up tables (putting the chairs on the table) next to me while I’m still eating. It was just before 10pm. Not great.

Nice atmosphere and great food. Nice staff. Ideal if you want to share some dishes and there is of course a good choice for individual dishes.

Lovely back deck, good unobtrusive service and delicious, healthy food. Only real complaint was that our water jug was not replaced when empty. Great spot for a catch up mid week as it was quiet on the deck even though others seated nearby.

Local restaurant we have frequented over many years. We keep coming back for special occasions like anniversaries and birthdays. Very good service. Can recommend it.

LIvely atmosphere. Food was served very promptly. This isn't the sort of place to go if you want a quiet, sombre evening - this place is bustling and spirited.

Went on Tues night and had the banquet. Great selection of Turkish dishes which we all really enjoyed. Would definitely recommend this restaurant and we will go again. Couldn't fault the meal or service.

Great food, great view, great service! The mixed platter for two is my favorite dish, closely followed by any of the options on the dessert menu!

Delicious food, good service. Duo dip entree and its accompanying bread was very high standard. Main meals were large although a bit more expensive than comparative restaurants.

Overcrowded Noisy Food was ok Stuck in the corner beside the door out to downstairs toilets so a continual stream of people bumping pass Not a pleasant night out

I found the staff to be very friendly and attentive. The menu is not huge but the food is delicious. The setting is pleasant. Definitely recommend this restaurant.

Delicious food and lovely staff. I would recommend the Caravanserai Meze Platter and the Spinach and Filo Cigars - yum! Definitely planning a return visit.

Food was great. The sweet chilli and fetta butter pide was unbelievable! Service was ok. Didn't receive the warmest of welcomes by one of the waiters. Would definitely return though.

Is a bit too dark here, overall good! Love all the sharing plates. Turkey bread very soft . Yummy apple tea as well. Will come again next time.

Nice banquet either the basic or deluxe. The basic banquet is cheaper on Tuesday evenings. We prefer the deluxe banquet which has a greater variety

Great food and great ambience on the balcony facing the city with lice view and infra heating. Good value for money with the banquet and really hearty portions.

Very nice meal, service was good, large servings, the resturant was busy and meals were served in good time, only issue is not easy to park the car

We ordered big platters to share we all enjoyed them. We later order pretty every dessert on the menu to share, except for Baklava and they were nice too. We especially liked the sticky date pudding and chocolate/almond cake.

Been here several times - never disappoints. (Hint - order the platter for 2. Its fantastic). Baklava and ice home made ice cream is bomb for that sweet hit at the end also. We will be back.

The food had great flavors and really enjoyable. The service was a little slow but when you see how many people where in the restaurant it was not surprising. Keep up the great food.

Loved it still very tasty food, but unfortunately they omitted a lot of dishes out of the old menu I.e., beef and lamb especially the lamb cutlets they where my favourite
