The food could be better for the price you pay but the location is good

On arrival we waited for while until I flagged down a staff member to escort us to the table we reserve earlier. The band and the atmosphere was awesome. The food was very good a very good night out and enjoyable, i would definitely asked my friends from Sydney to visit.

Live music was great! Food was delicious and quick. Hopefully the kids area will be reopened soon.

No umbrellas for the bottom, outdoor, wooden table area and food wasn't anything special. Chicken schnitzel was sub-standard.

Don't order a pizza, you get an over cooked piece of Lebanese bread, with a slither of tomato sauce and a sprinkling of cheese. Sold as a margarita for 20$. Disgraceful. Even worse we had gone to celebrate our sons birthday, he was given a birthday card with 20$ inside. We left and he forgot to pick up his card, at home 10 mins later, we called and asked if a card was handed in and were basically told "there's not much chance of getting that back". No checking, no concern. The receptionist could not have been less concerned that our young son had left his birthday money behind.

We have been visiting Caves Beach Coastal Bar for a number for years, since it has opened. Unfortunately, this was the worst experience we have had to date. There has been a change with the sitting and the ordering system. There is now no table service where the food is delivered to your table when ready. We reserved a table for 12 people, but the new tables meant we were split over two tables, and the food wasn't enjoyable. The chicken schnitzel wasn't up to normal standard and the salad was soggy, as if it had been sitting there all day. We are very disappointed as we are regulars to Caves Beach, although this was out first visit since the changes have been made, and honestly we were just upset with how disappointing everything was.

A great place any time of year, we visti our holiday home at Murrays Beach regularly and this is always our place of choice for a drink and feed,

Very busy Sunday with big functions, had other people asking for salt and pepper and serviettes from our table. If items had of been re-stocked it wouldn't have been an issue.

A bit too loud and tables very close together. There were 6 of us and it was hard to hear from the tables beside us Menu a little bit limited but the food was good

We had a lovely meal in a great atmosphere with friendly and professional service. We will be back!

I would suggest that you don't place a table for 2 in the middle of tables for 8 and 10 people. We were still eating our entree when the mains were ready. It was our 21st wedding anniversary and we were very disappointed.

The surf and turf was small and not worth the price. The steak sandwich was greasy. Shame because the venue is great but the food needs some work

Fantastic all round.. the service was fast, the food delicious, the venue is beautiful.. we can not fault our visit!

While the food here is great, it is a little bit pricey. The view is amazing though. The only real let down is the drinks. We ordered a couple cocktail jugs and left them all on the table as they had absolutely no flavor other than alcohol and soda water.

We had my husband's 40th, 44th & 45th there. The 40th was an awesome success. Staff couldn't do enough for us. Last year (44th) was frustrating as it felt like a free for all. No real organisation regarding drink queues. This year was worse. Couldn't find anyone to show us our table. Lovely place but organisation seems to be lacking. Menu was disappointing also. Has management changed hands?

Asahi beer only available in large glasses, I had to repeat the order (2 x beer and 2 x mineral water), after asking for mineral water I was asked if soda water was ok when a large bottle of mineral water was available Fish tacos, fish was not the star, tacos ok

Table was ready, staff were friendly & helpful, atmosphere was great, & food was really good & timely.

Average food - We had salmon and chicken that were both totally dripping in olive oil. Service was non existing - you have to pick your drinks, order food and bring it to your own table. The plates were not even taken away after we ate so we were wondering if we need also need to return them...

The fastes I have been served yet! Boo yah! Food was good as well

It was a 38C temp day but ceiling fans and a sea breeze kept the place pleasant to be in.
