Good food and plenty of it. They made a special for me , chicken, salt fish and beancurd hotpot . Good and enormous fried rice and the duck with plum sauce was good and generous.

Great Chinese food The decor is stuck in the 80s but that’s what you expect of a good Chinese restaurant imo The food is really good and def recommend The staff are very friendly and polite. We waited a bit for the food to come this time but have been there when food was served fast. Great value, paid around $44 pp and ate plenty, we were stuffed. Including a couple of drinks. 10/10 recommend the sizzling Mongolian lamb Great local Chinese, highly recommend

Restaurant decor has not changed since my last visit 10 years ago. Food was ok but expensive. Service- waiter rushed to get our order, brought our food and ignored us the rest of the time. 3 other tables had people so it wasn’t busy. Plates not even cleared away. Dessert/ coffee not ordered. Never asked if we wanted a second glass of wine. Can’t say I will be returning. It was disappointing as it used to be a smart, lively kind of place.

The last time we were at Choyan was more than 30 years ago. The atmosphere and food was the same. We enjoyed and will not wait a further 30 years to go there.

Our choices of dishes was OK, a couple were tasty, couple mediocre. Service very good. Atmosphere relaxing and able to stay as long as we liked to chat as restaurant had few midweek lunchtime clients. DO NOT USE MY NAME IN THIS REVIEW.

The seven of us enjoyed the night. The restaurant was quiet which we like and the service, excellent. The food was tender but personally I would have liked it to be a little more tasty with a little more herbs or spices.

Our family has been going to Choyan for 20 years because the food is always unbelievably delicious. We always enjoy Choyan Squid and the lamb pancakes. Divine.
