Inspired by her time spent in Japan, Claire – the woman behind Claire’s gallery – brings together Japanese and Western influences to create a special dining experience, right on Balmain’s popular dining strip. With exposed brick walls and minimalist furniture, Claire’s Gallery provides a stylish backdrop for a catch up with friends over some brunch, lunch or dinner. Kick your day off with an Aussie favourite like eggs benedict or go Japanese with the miso katsu omelet chow down on a premium wagyu steak burger or go for a larger course like the sushi platter, Japanese curry, Mediterranean roast chicken and chorizo or honey halloumi with hazelnut, mixed leaves, roast chat potatoes and aioli. Good authentic Japanese food in a great location in the heart of Balmain. The Bento boxes were well presented & good. The eggplant is highly recommended.
We had a Bento Box lunch. It was great value for money, good variety and great portion size. We have also dined there for dinner, it to was delicious. Definitely going back.
The staff were Friendly and it has a good atmosphere. The food was fresh and quick, along with a large menu selection the restaurant has on offer.
The lady host was warm and inviting. The food was great and more than enough. Definitely would visit here again! My only pick and it is very minor. It was a little cold outside, would have been perfect with heaters.
Attentive and efficient service. We had the set menu which was filling. Came with four friends. The hot sake included was enjoyed by some or have green tea instead.
Great food just questionable service. One meal came after everyone had finished and we had to remind them. Had to ask for the bill a number of times.
