I ordered crumbed cutlets and usually they are really nice however the ones I had were awful. My husband had the schnitzel and he said it was very good.

It was the biggest and crunchiest schnitzel with lots of sauce. One of the best I’ve ever had from anywhere. I like the Colliery Inn because it’s a small pub and you can hear our conversation. We did wish the guys would have come and sold us some raffle tickets though!!!

Huge schnitty, hot and crispy chips and a great salad! The Mexicana and Boscaola toppers were awesome! Definitely recommend!

Restaurant was understaffed on the day and the cook must be congratulated.

We booked a table so we could use our gift voucher but the employees struggled for about 20mins to work out how to process it. The previous time we came for dinner, they didn't know how to process it either. We ended up having to pay and were told we could use the voucher next time. After roughly 20mins we were told that they can't cook anymore food for the rest of the night because they were having issues with the lights. So we didn't end up eating at all and had to rush to get takeaway from somewhere else since most places were shut or about to shut. We got an alcoholic drink each, which we wished we didn't purchase as we had to have it on an empty stomach. The staff were very polite and apologetic. The light situation was not their fault but the voucher situation could've been dealt with better. Management could've made them aware of how to process the vouchers for future reference to avoid long delays or losing customers. Although I did appreciate the cash refund to avoid dealing with the voucher again. Also I was very excited for the pie speciality they normally have but was very disappointed to see they have taken it completely off the menu. Other times we've had dinner there, it was fantastic. I wish I could give a better review but I honestly don't have much positive feedback this time.
