Food fantastic, service efficient. Staff eager to please and very friendly. When visiting from Brisbane hubby and I like to try different restaurants and glad we tried this one. Would recommend maybe background music to improve the mood.

Overall food was good. Specially the keema naans. The only issue was wait time. We waited for over 40 mins for our mains to arrive. It was busy for sure but 40 mins wait is bit too much.

Curry Vault is a great place to go if you like a British-style curry. The lamb rogan josh is fantastic. There could have been a little more sauce with the chicken tikka masala but it was still delicious. Great garlic naan too.

Very good meal in pleasant surroundings and thank goodness a quiet restaurant! Reasonably priced and good, tasty food. Tucked away in side street but worth finding.

A comfortable and welcoming restaurant which serves all the 'standards' of Indian cuisine, and does very well at them. We had a delicious vegetarian meal: all of the mains were well-balanced and the breads were fresh and tasty. The staff were all very friendly and efficient. Would definitely visit again!

Our second visit to Curry Vault was as rewarding as our first. Friendly and attentive service, and a wonderful menu with such delicious dishes, each individual, fresh and tasty. Curry Vault sets a high standard and we will definitely be back.

Service was average but the food was good. Wish we had known that wine was not being served on this day. Nothing noted on their website.

Overall it was good, but the mushroom bhaji was not tasty.(Less salt, and felt like water is added to make gravy after the curry being cooked :) ) Some mis-mtach in what Naans we ordered and what we got. But still I recommend your place to all my friends. I like it. :)

Weren’t serving any alcohol,but neglected to tell us upon booking or arrival. Menu is not the same; they have obviously changed hands somewhere. Not the same curry vault.

Average Vegetarian food, relaxed and quiet atmosphere. Good if you want to spend quiet time with family and friends. Good service staff. However, Won't recommend if food is the reason to come to this restaurant. overall decent experience.

Great food, just service is very slow. We had to prompt them so we could order, then for more drinks and then also paying the bill! Most restaurants check in with their guests regularly and are way more attentive.

Customer service was great, and the food was fantastic. Especially the garlic naan, where we went back for seconds!! We booked online which was easy.

The place was great and the foods were delicious. Ordered Mango Lasii, Mango Chicken Curry, Dhaal, and they were tasty. The staff were friendly as well. It was certainly a good experience.

Really tasty veggie curries and pleasant staff. Good value too. We spent 150 dollars on food (excluding alcohol) for 7 people and were all plenty full. Highly recommend eating here.

I discovered a wonderful restaurant tonight, hidden away in a magical laneway in Melbourne city. A delightful atmosphere in the subterranean dining space, with charming music and friendly staff. Food was a treat, with every dish exotic and delicious. I'm definitely going back. PS. The dessert of kheer was sublime.

Absolutely horrible, this is not Indian food. The hostess had some attitude, no care for customer service. Wouldn't visit again and wouldn't recommend to anyone.
