David's Hotpot - Melbourne CBD

We had a set for 2 people there, I think it was worth not only the food but also the service. The waitress was so nice and helpful.

Food was great but they had an issue with the POS system and they manually calculated our bill but couldn’t print a receipt for us. I had to go back the next day to get a receipt and discovered they overcharged us. They did refund the overcharged amount but they didnt try to contact me, I had to go back to the restaurant the next day. I wonder if they would have admitted to overcharging us if I didn’t go back

The food was delicious, and it was my family of four first time. It was an awesome experience we went to at lunch time so it wasn't busy and it was a Tuesday. We over did it a bit but we enjoyed our time there. Our tummies were very happy. We ordered the set menu that was available and a few other dishes. I can't complain that every dish was sweetas. Thanks to YouTube and the reviews I researched it made us proud for us first timers. We will be back again. We appreciate the great service and atmosphere.

Was a fun night trying different dishes and flavors. Busy and at times a bit noisy but service was good and very reasonably priced meal. Will definitely return. Thank you

Staff were quite friendly :)) my friends soup was a little too spicy but stuff like that is hard to control because everyone’s level of spice tolerance is different so no complains there

Highly recommended. I am a tourist and this was recommended by my Friend who is staying in Melbourne. The mala and chicken fish maw soup is a must! It’s better than HDL and the set was good priced. Got to try many things in their set ordered. Love it and will visit there again the next time I visit there

Good hot pot , standard like most hot pots, not too clean not too messy .. bit expensive but it is what it is

Pricey, but the food was fantastic and the waitress was very attentive.

We found two flies in our food, one in the hotpot soup and another in the drink. Hygiene is terrible and they didn't replace the food that was contaminated so we paid for it only to be chucked out.

Generally the customer service is very good. The trainer lady whom served us was very friendly and attentive.

food is average, there is better hotpot elsewhere. service was terrible -staff poured hot water/ soup onto my phone and belongings on the table as was not looking when re-filling the soup.

Rushed from the moment we were seated at out table and no spoons or service at all and the waiters were practically running from table to table and not even close to premium hotpot dining experience one bit 🤦🏻‍♀️

Lucky I got the mild spicy .that was very spicy and I love spicy food .the staff was excellent and it's a great place to eat

Food was fairly good but REALLY need keep an eye on general hygiene as I saw flies were everywhere! Also I was trying to use my pre-deposited credits when checking out but it turns out I’m not entitled for membership price if I use the credits which really upset me. To be honest, if you have budget $60 per person, you definitely have better choices.

Service was good, waiters were polite and attentive. Food was slightly above average. However, did not enjoy the sauces available. They were all too salty

I think it is not bad but definately a bit overated. There a new hotpot places in the CBD with better atmosphere and value for money.
