Great authentic si chuan hot pot. Creative appearance of dishes.the lowest level of spicy is enough for me. Strongly recommended. Need to reserve online first.

Nice atmosphere and a great place for family. Although it was pricey, the food is fresh. Homemade noodles were fantastic. Slightly/Normal spicy level is enough for most people to experience

Really yummy food! As a halfie who can barely handle spicy food, the non-spicy option was so delicious. The meats and vegetables are so delicious and staff are always attentive. Would definitely recommend and also would go again :)

The service was fantastic, produce was fresh and it was overall a fun night out. The restaurant itself is very organized and had a wide variety of hotpot ingredients, drinks and sauces. One of the best in melbourne

We paid $106 for two people with seafood combo, hand make noodles, bok choy, pork belly and mushrooms. The seafood was not fresh especially the prawns. The serving was very small and it was very expensive. This price we can have fine dinning in Sofitel hotel 35th floor in Collin. We will definitely not recommend to anyone. Disappointed experience....

I don’t know why service is badly managed. Food also not as good as it used to be. Disappointed this time. Music too loud. Couldn’t even talk.

Really fun and tasty experience, with loads of options for stock, sauces and things to go in. Quite expensive for what you get though - it adds up quickly.

Good food, good ambition and friendly staff, but the food portion is too small. Also, its hard to communicate with the waitress, because some of the staff also cannot speak English properly.

IMHO the best Cheng Du hotpot you can find in Melb. Only downside was the lack of a liquor licence to complete the whole experience.

A lot of variety of food and drink. Fun experience cooking your own food in hotpot style. Down side: They charge $3/pp of dipping sauce

Service was excellent and the food exceeded our expectations. Price was a bit on the high side though. If you are after traditional Sichuan hot pot, definitely worthy of a try.

When we wet all queuing to get into the resturant, some people jump the queue in front of the line but the staff still let them in.

Always a pleasure to eat at David’s! Took dad for an early father’s day dinner and he enjoyed it. Funnily enough, he couldn’t handle the lowest spice level of the broths but he enjoyed it none the less. Thanks for having us!

Seafood broth was delicious. Slightly spicy broth was incredibly spicy, not recommended unless you can really handle the heat. Not a large condiment range, but all the normal sauces and friendly service

One of the best Sichuan hotpot I have ever had. Quite pricey though. Spent about $170 for two people. Might be more worthwhile to go with more people.

No customer service. When you make the payment, they tell you they don't t take eftpos or credit card and uses the excuses like" the eftpos machine is not working", however, they have a dodgy ATM at the side for you to draw money and pay cash, doesn't seem to be an honest business, don't reccomend people to waste time there.

Two people spend 200 dollars which is expensive. The discount calculating is confusing need to check the bill carefully before pay. Food is good anyway !

Great food but a bit expensive at $84 for 2. I would recommend the mushroom soup. They charge the same one price pot to share regardless of how many you are, so, more economical to have at least 4 ppl sharing.

Tried this hot pot place on a wintery day. First time here. You can book by calling them or use Quandoo which is easier. Came in for dinner at 5pm. Ordered half less spicy and half seafood soup. The least spice soup is really spicy and I can eat spicy food. The seafood soup is good too. Ordered beef, lamb, prawn paste and mushrooms and tofu skin. All tasty. It is a bit pricey over $115 for two. If you pay cash you will get 5% discount. Suggested that they bring down the price as I will not be returning as there are other hot pot place around Melbourne.
