One of a clutch of upstart Melbourne restaurants along the Docklands NewQuay Promenade, close to Harbour Esplanade and Docklands Drive, Docklands Lotus is a Chinese restaurant with a menu that will astound. The list is truly astounding, dominated by the kind of Cantonese cuisine you’d expect, but dotted with some Malaysian and Straits Chinese specialties like char kway teow and Kuala Lumpur-style Hokkien mee. If you’re feeling up for a big night, go for the Dex Special, noodles with king prawns, scallops, pork, chicken and a secret ingredient, but if adventure is what you’re really after then we suggest the chicken, beef or combination tomato sauce specials. Plus, if you like your fowl fresh, there are a number of ‘duckling’ dishes at this Docklands Chinese restaurant to choose from.

Ok, not sure about overall values. Can still try. Difficult to find entrance.
The team at Docklands Lotus bent over backwards to support our large family group. The food, service and people were great. Definitely would recommend eating here.
Excellent food. Service a little sloppy but would still recommend. Great location on the Docklands Harbour Enjoyed the evening with good friends and cold drinks
