The food was very good with generous serves. We ordered from the Tapas selection which was extensive. The wine menu (by the glass) was limited but enough to choose from. Friendly service at a reasonable price.

Excellent food and friendly staff would highly recommend lovely place. The food was fresh tasty and reasonably priced. Nice restaurant and cozy bar area. Will definitely return.

Took our son and his wife for a meal there, had a lovely evening, atmosphere and lady serving were excellent. Only our second time there and this time the steaks weren't as good as the first time. My sons wife ordered hers to be rare but it was more like medium rare. The potatoes with the steaks I felt were a little on the small size. We will still go again though.

Food was good, the snapper was a tad too salty for us but overall we enjoyed our meal. We will definitely be back again. Service was attentive and friendly even for a very busy Friday night.

One of my favourite places. Great food and great staff. If you need gluten free there are lots of choices as well. Absolutely recommend this place.

The food is consistently very good, the service always attentive and the atmosphere is very good. We keep going back and are never disappointed. Will be visiting there again soon.

Overall the atmosphere was great and wine selection good. The food however lacked in flavour and was very bland. We ordered medium rare steaks and received a cold rare steak with no juices flowing which was disappointing. The waitresses didn't find time to ask how our meal was and even when paying did not ask the question. When you're paying $45 for a steak we would expect a simple "how was your meal" we didn't receive anything until they felt it necessary after payment. The waitress did however apologise at this point and offered us some wines which was a good gesture. The customer service was just a little late for me given the prices we were paying. Would go again for drinks, not for food.

Great location for this type of venue. Service and food was fantastic. Food was tasty and hot. Highly recommended. Will definitely be back again to enjoy the ambience.

Good venue and great food. The coffee was the only thing that wasn't up to par. It was cold and you can only get flat white or black.

Top food had barramundi with lentils and pancetta very good perfectly cooked - nice place great service menu could be better but with a veggie wife we ate variois starters and all food was very good well done Down the Hatch an actual decent place in Joondalup is a big bonus

Great food, basic dare meat and fish but all cooked to perfection. Tapas was varied and had some interesting items on it, will have a go at that on our next visit. Beer and spirit selection more than adequate, great atmosphere and the staff were excellent.

Fantastic food and drinks served by pleasant, friendly staff. I will return soon to sample some of the other gems this place has to offer.

Great food , we had the pork,crab,squid and duck tapas was amazing and I used to be a chef will definitely go back for more

Good service but need a selection of more types beers and house specials in food. Too many choices of Tapas( a bit overwhelming). Other than that very good.

Restaurant was warm & cosy on a cold Winter's night. Nice decor & atmosphere. Great food & lovely friendly waitress. Loved the salmon dish for main. We'll be back!

Friendly, warm, relaxing with good food at a good price. A really good experience, well worth a visit. For us it was our 'date night' and served the purpose well. Tip: house wine is a very decent drop, I'm no great expert but we enjoyed it.

Fantastic restaurant. Had several of the tapas plates which were delicious. The customer service was ace as well. Very friendly service and the food came out in good time. Will definitely be back to try out more of the menu!

Try the dry aged rib eye! Have been hearing about the steak for a while now and finally got down to trying it. Such good quality meat which was washed down with a cold pint of Guinness on tap. Great venue.

Coffee & hot choc were burning hot. Food was nice. Service staff were friendly. Small restaurant & a little noisy for chatting. Would consider going again.

Welcoming waitstaff. Prompt to bring drinks and take order. However, waited 45 minutes for service of food. I think this is unacceptable. Food, when it arrived was delicious. Only criticism was wait time for food.

Amazing service, great food and price. Would definitely recommend for anyone wanting tapas. Beautiful and not a busy loud bar style in the front room- I will most certainly be back.

Food was ok. Tried four different tapas. Drinks menu was very limited and the service was average at best. Layout and restaurant was a lot nicer than when we had been here a few years before.

Very nice atmosphere. Food was ok but expensive for the small amount we got. There was 4 of us and 3 had the snapper and the other had the Salmon. All fish was over cooked especially the Salmon.
