Farina 00 Pasta & Wine

Food was average for price paid. Lamb ragu had such minimal lamb you had to search for it. Service was slow and you had to keep flagging someone down to order a drink. Waiter came to ask us how our dinner was about 2 seconds after receiving it which made it seem they had no idea what was going on. Entrees came out really fast but mains took forever. They kindly took 2 dishes off the bill and gave us 25% discount on the rest but the damage is done. Too many better restaurants nearby to try this place again.

We were the first to arrive for lunch. After entering the restaurant rather loudly as we had a pram, there was no one to greet us. We actually though they were closed. The service was very relaxed, the young girl was polite and attentive. The food was clean and tasty, but there was no fresh pasta as promised on this day. Unfortunately the sauce was not as authentic as we had hoped for as well. The carpaccio was delicious, and we both enjoyed our salami pizza. The squid was baby squid, which is not from Australian waters - it was prepared simply and tasted nice.

No service until one make an foort to catch the running wait staff. excellent food.... after waiting for 50min...

Gnocchi was delicious, so was the 4 mushroom pizza. Tiramisu was dry in parts, as it was set in a cup, not a tray.

I love Farina, particularly their pizza dough. Their aranchini balls didn’t disappoint and the pizza was still good. The only think I would say is that their mushroom ‘in the woods’ pizza (which I had previosly and loved) didn’t have enough mushrooms on this time. It was basically chesse pizza with sparse amount of mushroom on. Otherwise everything else was good as usual.

I am so disappointed to say that my dining experience at Farina 00 was deplorable. Farina 00 was previously my favorite restaurant & I would always highly recommend to friends. However, afternoon my experience last night, not anymore! I ordered the beef carpaccio & requested some bread on the side, like I have always done in the past without any issues. This wasn’t the case last night, I was told that the restaurant doesn’t have bread! What Italian restaurant doesn’t have bread?! We were not told what the specials were, I had to request. My partners pizza came out with our entree, & we told that my main hadn't even been started in the kitchen, meaning he would have had finished his main before mine had even been cooked. The lovely waiting staff apologized for the miscommunication & offered to take the pizza back & another one made while my pasta was being cooked. Such a shame to throw away a stunning pizza, however we went out to eat as a couple not separately. Therefore, we decided to send the pizza back. I can’t say that I my meal (beetroot tortellini) was the best I’ve had, despite being filled with ricotta which was delish. But, the pasta was dry & thick. I didn't enjoy the pea purée at all which was quite sparse, I found it to be a bizarre combination with not much flavor. Post main meal, we weren't even offered the sweet menu. But, to be quite honest after such a debacle of an evening with the food I would not have considered ordering, or digging into a sweet. Our previous experiences at Farina 00 have always been 5 stars. I feel this was possibly due to the amazing floor management by the previous employee Daniele who managed a tight ship resulting in the food/ service being amazing. Not anymore, and this disappoints me. This was a fabulous restaurant that myself and my partner returned to regularly. However, this won’t be the case anymore, because I won’t be returning anytime soon & I will not be recommending to friends in the future.

The squid ink pasta was something I hadn’t tried before and really enjoyed. I had thought it would be very strong flavour but was delicate and went well with the fish. Tiramisu was different to what I am used to, a bit too runny at the bottom of the glass for my taste

I was pleased that my online reservation ensured my table was waiting for us at the correct time. The restaurant was really crowded and buzzing with activity. Menu was interesting and food arrived in a timely manner despite large numbers there. Second time there and not our last!!

Nice night with friends. Food & service was good. Rabbit Pasta a bit bland.

Only complaint was the room temperature. It was uncomfortably warm. Food and service were excellent.

Pappardelle serve size was very poor! Pancetta was not tender at ALL! Pizzas were tasty and bases were perfect! Wines were lovely! Staff were friendly! Service was slower than expected considering number of diners!

Disappointed with the level of attention to our table (2)... pasta cooked good but the sauce.... tomatoe in can was off, chef please check the taste before serving.. acidity was way to high!

Very disappointed. Failed big time. Was bland food at my first visit when opened and revisited because some advice suggested improvements made. While flavour had improved still unacceptable 1 Could only taste onion on the Garlic pizza; should be renamed. 2 Pasta dishes overwhelmed with tomato sauce. 3 Desert pizza so large suitable for 4 not 1; yet no warning. And on checking bill today charged for a course I didn’t have. Overpriced for what it is. Sorry no return this time

Their Arancini was the vest one ever we've eaten!! Other dishes were also so delicious. Night atmosphere with candles are very nice.

Great pizza..a bit of a wait, but were compensated with a free drink of our choice..Berry tart light and refreshing. Will definitely be back to try the other great dishes on the menu 🤗

Full restaurant on the night but the staff were efficient and accommodating in our request to change tables to a more cosyier corner. Our meals were amazing and we weren't rushed to leave, being the last customers left at the end of the night. We will all definitely be back in the future. Enjoyed the night, service and food but $15 per head for olives capsicum ham cheese and polenta is stretching it!

Great food and wine! The service was a little slow. Please note it gets very noisy, we were almost yelling across the table at each other, and tables are close together. I wish there was a cheese option on the menu.
