The Food was delicious, the drinks were good. Wine accompanied wine food was a good reccomendation. We were very happy with the Service, they excelled through knowledge and being informative about their product 👍
Good, traditional food and good service. Great value for money. Comfortable environment on a hot night. Disappointing that the chilli crab wasn’t being served that night.
My third visit. Food is always excellent (the arancini outstanding), prices are reasonable and the staff obliging and amiable even under occasionally trying circumstances. The high- ceilinged rooms are spacious and attractively decorated and furnished. Top marks all round.
Food was good but service very slow. Had to keep asking the staff to refill our water and drinks etc. Need more experienced waiting staff.
I ordered the Salmon and portion size was quite small. However the overall taste combination was beautiful. Separate/ individual payments would have been great as we had a large grouping. The overall service of the waitresses attending was excellent.
Beautiful food! Enjoyed very tasty matching wine. Would have loved a few more gnocchi in the serve- they were so delicious! The service was timely and staff were polite and knew the menu very well.
Very busy due to king william rd tour down under street party..had to wait over an hour for food..but enjoyed the meal once it finally arrived..
Good pasta but very overpriced. Needed more salt. My serve was very large and my partners very tiny. The truffle chips were the highlight of the dining experience. Nutella semifreddo also yum. Mains pretty mediocre.
This was my first time at Farina and I found the staff to be friendly, efficient and knowledgeable. The food was beautifully presented and delicious
Great food, pleasant venue and staff who know what their doing. It was a very enjoyable lunch at a reasonable price. I would recommend to Italian food lovers in particular.
It was a great night , very warm atmosphere , food as I have been told by others was excellent .. the service prompt and accomodating .. oh yes nice and cool on a very hot night!
My wife and I dined at Farina for our wedding anniversary and went disappointed. The service was friendly and welcoming, the food was perfect and to finish off the night we were given complimentary deserts to our surprise. All in all a memorable night.
short menu, focussed on pasta. Not much choice other than that, but that is OK very good quality food, not cheap, excellent service and a good atmosphere we would definitely go back again
Lovely pasta . Took a while to come out so they gave us unprompted complimentary dessert for 6 - a nice touch. Wine list interesting but a bit limited
Excellent food and service. Highly recommend this lovely place. The flavors were amazing. Best arancini balls! Very good wine choices. Staff were friendly and helpful
Unfortunately this restaurant does not live up to its signage. Possibly the worst Italian food I have ever had. My husbands pasta came out cold with a raw egg. It was tasteless and just very pedestrian. However the young girl looking after us tried hard and was very attentive
Great food and good, friendly service. Well priced and fresh. We had a romantic dinner for four and Farina was great for an affordable, comfortable fun night. Highly recommended. We’ll be back!
Everything was amazing!! Can’t wait to go back!! We spinach and cream gnocchi was my favourite but loved every dish we ordered -so fresh and authentic!!
Beautiful table settings make a lovely first impression. Experience to follow entailed faultless food; perfectly cooked and full of well balanced flavour from start to finish. Great local and imported wine list, even the coffee was on point! Will definitely return and bring others.
I am not surprised they are voted one of the best. This really is a unique restaurant, Fresh pasta...beautiful service, my partner and I had the evenings specials, amaretto Tortellini and the oxtail gnocchi flavours were more than exceptional, Finished with the homemade cannoli and chocolate soufflé, these guys know what's up.
Service was wonderful and very professional. The waitress new her Food! Fresh pasta was welcomed and a great wine list supporting local wineries. Decor was nice and has a fire for those cold nights. Spacious too so unaware of other guests.
Staff were pleasant however the food was disappointing. I had the mushroom pasta and while it was generous with mushrooms, there was no seasoning whatsoever and the pasta was very watery from the mushrooms rather than there being a sauce from what would have been beautiful mushroom stock, so overall it was a bland and a less than average dish. I had the cheese plate rather than dessert, and it was ridiculous. The piece of Brie and Gorgonzola were the size of a thumbnail. More effort was put in to the fruit on the plate. Too silly for words really.
Main courses good..arinancini ball was very tasteless and ciabatta was cold. Nice atmosphere and staff were really good. Just the starters were a let down .
The food and wine were absolutely delicious. We had the 'special' pasta with a glass of wine which was terrific value and the atmosphere was delightful.
The service was very friendly and efficient. The food was good without being excellent but some different dishes which is good. The atmosphere was pleasant but lacked just a little . Overall. I enjoyed the restaurant and would return .
Friendly service, lovely open fire, great red wine and terrific pasta - what more could you ask for? Friendly service, lovely open fire, great red wine and terrific pasta - what more could you ask for?
Was a bit dissapointing. We had a group of six and all noted that the food was lacking in seasoning. I had the rabbit Pasta that was more like a broth with a very small amount of meat. Lowest priced bottle of Shiraz was $50 , much too expensive for this style of restaurant. On the positive side the entre's were tasty with generous servings. The cannoli was a huge hit with one of our diners.
Our meals were delicious. The service was very good. The restaurant was full so a little noisy but overall it was a very enjoyable experience.
This is the second time I have had dinner here and the meals are always delicious. The music was weird once again for an Italian restaurant with a bit of Nsync and Cranberries - makes the atmosphere a little weird.
Service was very slow. It took an hour and a half to receive our mains-we were a party of two. A number of the dishes were very unseasoned- no salt or pepper on the table or fresh pepper offered by wait staff. This was disappointing considering a lot of care and time was taken to prepare the food. Wait staff were very polite- but appeared to have forgotten us. Wine was delicious.
Amazing food, some very nice wine pairings. Staff were friendly and professional. The only draw back was we had to wait a while for our food.
Service was good, but food was bland, and lacked seasoning. Had the Blue Swimmer Crab ravioli special, it was generous serving of ravioli. However, there was barely any crab filling and the only sauce was the starchy pasta water, no flavour at all. Also had the arancini for entree, this was extremely bland, lots of thick grain rice, no usual cheese to hold it together. Strange take on arancini that unfortunately didn't work for us. We asked for some salt to add flavours our meals, and so did our neighbouring diners, so I don't think this was a once off which is a shame. We were seated at the back of the restaurant next to the kitchen looking into it. Was a pity because the decor is lovely and there were plenty of empty tables at the front. This probably took away from our experience having to talk over the noisy kitchen and staring into the fluorescent work area and toilets.
The food was great, Wine was good. The staff were Helpful, Friendly and polite. Location was easily accessible. The Restaurant was fitted out well. We will be going back.
Lovely restaurant the pasta itself was excellent my companion thoroughly enjoyed her slow cooked lamb pasta dish. I had the 3 mushrooms pasta and although it had great flavour there could have been more mushrooms in the dish. I will return as it was a lovely experience and enjoyed being by the fire
Excellent staff, excellent food, excellent cocktails, excellent wine. Will definitely be going there again, as often as possible. I highly recommend their Gnocchi! And the arancini for entrée.
The food and service was excellent however it was very noisy. Because of this it is unfortunate but I suspect we will not return. A shame because everything else was superb.
Great service, good food and when waitress saw one dish was not eaten (lacked seasoning - she offered another dish and chef sent apologies). Classy.
Fantastic pasta - probably one of the best pasta meals I've had in a restaurant EVER (no joke!). Highly recommended - it's all hand made - will go again.
Good food and great service. Cute location and really nice inside! It was a sunday night so there was only 2 other group in there. Good if you like to eat somewhere quiet.
Great pasta and pasta varieties, the sauces in which are added to the pasta are full of flavour. Great wine selection and a great team to look after you.
