Farina 00 Pasta & Wine

Service was wonderful and very professional. The waitress new her Food! Fresh pasta was welcomed and a great wine list supporting local wineries. Decor was nice and has a fire for those cold nights. Spacious too so unaware of other guests.

Staff were pleasant however the food was disappointing. I had the mushroom pasta and while it was generous with mushrooms, there was no seasoning whatsoever and the pasta was very watery from the mushrooms rather than there being a sauce from what would have been beautiful mushroom stock, so overall it was a bland and a less than average dish. I had the cheese plate rather than dessert, and it was ridiculous. The piece of Brie and Gorgonzola were the size of a thumbnail. More effort was put in to the fruit on the plate. Too silly for words really.

Main courses good..arinancini ball was very tasteless and ciabatta was cold. Nice atmosphere and staff were really good. Just the starters were a let down .

Was a bit dissapointing. We had a group of six and all noted that the food was lacking in seasoning. I had the rabbit Pasta that was more like a broth with a very small amount of meat. Lowest priced bottle of Shiraz was $50 , much too expensive for this style of restaurant. On the positive side the entre's were tasty with generous servings. The cannoli was a huge hit with one of our diners.

The food and wine were absolutely delicious. We had the 'special' pasta with a glass of wine which was terrific value and the atmosphere was delightful.

Lovely restaurant the pasta itself was excellent my companion thoroughly enjoyed her slow cooked lamb pasta dish. I had the 3 mushrooms pasta and although it had great flavour there could have been more mushrooms in the dish. I will return as it was a lovely experience and enjoyed being by the fire

Service was very slow. It took an hour and a half to receive our mains-we were a party of two. A number of the dishes were very unseasoned- no salt or pepper on the table or fresh pepper offered by wait staff. This was disappointing considering a lot of care and time was taken to prepare the food. Wait staff were very polite- but appeared to have forgotten us. Wine was delicious.

Amazing food, some very nice wine pairings. Staff were friendly and professional. The only draw back was we had to wait a while for our food.

Service was good, but food was bland, and lacked seasoning. Had the Blue Swimmer Crab ravioli special, it was generous serving of ravioli. However, there was barely any crab filling and the only sauce was the starchy pasta water, no flavour at all. Also had the arancini for entree, this was extremely bland, lots of thick grain rice, no usual cheese to hold it together. Strange take on arancini that unfortunately didn't work for us. We asked for some salt to add flavours our meals, and so did our neighbouring diners, so I don't think this was a once off which is a shame. We were seated at the back of the restaurant next to the kitchen looking into it. Was a pity because the decor is lovely and there were plenty of empty tables at the front. This probably took away from our experience having to talk over the noisy kitchen and staring into the fluorescent work area and toilets.

This is the second time I have had dinner here and the meals are always delicious. The music was weird once again for an Italian restaurant with a bit of Nsync and Cranberries - makes the atmosphere a little weird.

Excellent staff, excellent food, excellent cocktails, excellent wine. Will definitely be going there again, as often as possible. I highly recommend their Gnocchi! And the arancini for entrée.

The food and service was excellent however it was very noisy. Because of this it is unfortunate but I suspect we will not return. A shame because everything else was superb.

Fantastic pasta - probably one of the best pasta meals I've had in a restaurant EVER (no joke!). Highly recommended - it's all hand made - will go again.

Great pasta and pasta varieties, the sauces in which are added to the pasta are full of flavour. Great wine selection and a great team to look after you.

Good food and great service. Cute location and really nice inside! It was a sunday night so there was only 2 other group in there. Good if you like to eat somewhere quiet.

Amazing food, brilliant service - highly recommended. A place that cares about the freshness and quality of its food - every dish we ordered was delicious, full of flavour, and brilliantly thought through - from the most simplistic of dishes to the more complex - it was just brilliant. Complimenting good food with brilliant, perfectly timed service and care - this is a great place.

As a chef and ex-restaurateur I am fussy about my food. There are very few dining out places would I return to - but I would certainly return to this restaurant. The chef does not just pay lip service to "fresh and simple", but truly translates that into his food with beautiful attention to detail. I could not fault any of the food from the best calamari I have eaten through to the sides and wonderful home made pasta. The service was spot on also. Thank you Farina 000

What a wonderful experience here from start to finish. The pasta was absolutely to die for, so fresh and instantly makes you feel like you are actually eating in Italy. Recommend the Gigli truffle pasta.

There is room for improvement. The starters were amazing and so was the truffle pasta. However the rabbit pasta was watery and the service extremely slow. Only one girl for the restaurant and bar area all night. So she had no time to ask how the food was or offer Parmesan/pepper etc. Great Italian wines though!

We had a delightful time at Farina 00. I had the chef special and it was delish! Pasta created within the restaurant was a hit with all of us. Thank you for a wonderful meal.

Food, wine and service good. Unfortunately they had run out of the gnocchi but other dishes ordered were OK. Good place for a pleasant casual evening

The food was outstanding - some of the best pasta I've had in Adelaide. However, the wait staff sort of let the place down. I was initially poured the wrong wine, then waited nearly 10 minutes for the correct wine. The staff are obviously told they need to check on the patrons throughout their meal but I found this to be quite awkward and ill-timed. At the end of the night we were charged for a bottle of wine, rather than the one glass we had. Probably just teething issues and I'm sure they'll iron these out. Again, the food was outstanding so I'll definitely be back for that.

The food is nice and the service was good. It needs a few more dessert options. A bit noisy. Not suited to an intimate dinner.

A lovely night with attentive staff and a set menu for Valentines that still had some choices. And OMG The Gnocchi so very very good!

The restaurant was quiet, clean and relaxed. The staff were attentive and happy. Food was fresh, delicious and presented traditionally. The only tasty morsel missing was possibly a tomato based relish or sauce for the polenta chips. We left feeling full and content.

The newly renovated restaurant gave us a very warm feeling and the customer service was very good. We had a 3-course meal and were quite impressed with the quality and the quantity.

The food was delicious and fresh. I had the chefs favorite, the papardelle with rabbit, tender meat with the pasta cooked to perfection. Service was prompt and friendly and my friends loved the cozy atmosphere.

Pasta made on the spot is very hard to beat. Excellent service and wine list thought through to match the food. Starters were off the charts and the pasta sauces delicious....rabbit sauce had a little much herbal action, but the lamb ragu, salsicce and fungi were all as good as you will find anywhere. Highly recommend.

We were slightly disappointed to see this restaurant was empty for lunch. However, we don't expect it to stay that way. We shared an entree of lamb arancini - the lamb was superb and its flavour penetrated the risotto ball. We then had a porcini pasta and a pancetta pasta - in both cases the flavours were rich, very authentic as far as i can tell (basing this only on visits to Italy - nothing in house in my family! - and the pasta itself was superb. The service was friendly, informative and helpful (not surprising i guess - we were in the end one of only two tables!). We had the $25 pasta and wine lunch special and we were absolutely tickled pink. I can highly recommend this place.

Fairly expensive for what the food was, but great service. menu could have had a few extra options. But otherwise pleasant atmosphere, nice and quiet and relaxing inside.

Service friendly from waiting staff, Slow service even though wasn't very busy , food enjoyable. Ambience was average- place had been semi-renovated from previous restaurant but still a bit old.

Had amazing pasta at Farina, not always easy to come across but what we had was exceptional. Finished with the nutella semi fredo which was delicious but tipped me over the edge (you need room to enjoy it!). Will definitely be back!

The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable and the food was excellent. The pasta was made fresh in house and the arancini were a stand out, although enormous!

Fantastic service! All the food was amazing, so great to see an Italian restaurant specialising in making fresh pasta. You could tell everything was so fresh, great value for your money. Will definitely be back!

Pasta was some of the best I've had in Adelaide. The arancini was amazing. Great for friends catching up or family, Service was very good.
