Farinas is our local “go to” for dinner. It’s a great pizza-style restaurant with good service and good food. But if you want a quiet dinner for two (as we did), avoid the early bookings (as we didn’t) to avoid the noisy young children having dinner with parents (or handlers) who never taught their children the difference between inside and outside voices and common behaviour in public ! OK got that one off my chest 🙄 But I must add that the (men’s) toilets were a disgrace - filthy floors, paper thrown everywhere. Really let’s the place down - management obviously don’t know or care anything about sanitary facilities. Let’s hope the kitchen is better managed!

All the hard surfaces in this restaurant make for a very noisy dining experience - especially when six under-10’s turn up with a couple of mothers (who obviously haven’t taught them about “indoor voices”). Two of us talking across a small table required lip reading and real concentration. The antipasto entree arrived with half a dozen enormous slices of 3cm thick pizza bread - all of which we left on the plate. Do they really expect people to woof this stuff down before a main meal??!
