Great food service and value and would definitely go back

The wait staff were wonderful, helpful and informative, and very friendly. The entrees were very good, however the pizzas were not much above average for this style of restaurant which rates itself amongst the better pizza places. Not enough to get us back there any time soon.

Excellent customer service, very friendly & attentive. Food was very good.

Need to work on the sauce, the pasta was very doughy and not pleasant to eat. Would not return.

I took my elderly mother in her wheel chair and the staff were so helpful, kind and smiling. She commented on how great the food was and how the whole experience was made even better by the smiles.

Authentic Italian cuisine, well-priced and impeccable service. Highly recommend their pizze speciali range, in particular the porcini pizza. Couldn't decide between the tiramisu and the panna cotta for dessert, so I capped off my birthday dinner celebrations with both! 10/10

Loved the food: pizza bases were pretty perfect. Variety of pizzas quite adequate. Tables were a little close together but there’s not much one can do with such limited space. Overall, a good dining experience.

We love it here! My husband had a bad day and I booked Ferdinand knowing the outstanding woodfired pizza and social atmosphere would cheer him up! Not to mention the excellent drinks! Love it here!

Good service overall. Tasty pizza great antipasto platter with delicious garlic gluten free focaccia Gluten free and vegan options catered for. One pizza a little soggy at the centre but otherwise good.

Ferdinand is the most delightful, authentically Italian, wood-fired pizza restaurant in Northcote. The campagnola and the porcini pizzas are to die for and the staff are friendly, personable and know a thing or two about wine too. My favourite was the Alteo 2015 chianti Will definitely be coming back

Love the mushroom pizza and the waiter (don't know how name, but we've had him before - super smiley and friendly!). Only reason is not 5 stars is the waitress was a bit snarky and the other veggo pizzas could had had more toppings (e.g. chunky pumpkin).

Ferdinand, is a terrific little find, filled with friendly, efficient & charming staff but the pizza's are just "AMAZING". Everyone I take here, just love the pizza's & I keep eating the same pizza - "Invernale" - just love it! Rosetta

Fantastic pizza & well matched wine suggested by the waiter. Quite a tight space with little room between tables. Don’t appreciate being asked if the table can be cleared while still eating.

Brilliant place! Staff are as awesome as the food :) they run a tight ship and all know what they are doing. So many vegan options too!

Great atmosphere, great ambiance and music and great food, every time. Service is impeccable and staff are all knowledgeable regarding wine matching and what food to have if you're a little indecisive like me sometimes :)
