There is no shortage of restaurants in Melbourne. And while it’s true Melbourne is home to some of the best in the country, when you come across a restaurant that serves impeccable fare, in a relaxing yet sophisticated environment with some of the friendliest staff you’ll find anywhere, well, you hold on to something like that… and that is exactly what you’ll find at Ghazal Indian Buffet. Located in Werribee on Watton Street, about half an hour south of the city centre, the team behind Ghazal Indian Buffet are experts when it comes to showcasing the very best of Indian cuisine, and in particular highlighting several regional dishes, to make your meal all the more special.
It’s safe to say that Melbourne folk have an undisputed love affair with food – and Indian food in particular. And when a curry craving comes along, Ghazal Indian Buffet is the place to visit. Not too far from the Melbourne CBD, this Werribee restaurant is brimming with all the tasty dishes you could conjure up. With so many delicious options, it can be a challenge to decide though. So, we’d highly recommend sharing a few starters like the onion bhaji, chilli cheese chicken and garlic prawns marinated in aromatic spices – that will surely get the senses tingling.
For the main event, there’s a vast selection of meat and vegetarian dishes, so everyone is sure to be catered for. For those opting for a plant-based dish, the shahi paneer is melt-in-your-mouth delicious, as is the paneer tikka masala cooked in a rich, buttery tomato sauce flavoured with fenugreek and cashews. Alongside, the talented team behind Ghazal Indian Buffet serve a tasty butter chicken, goat curry and prawn vindaloo that certainly packs a punch. You’ll find Ghazal Indian Buffet on Watton Street in Werribee. Perfect for a romantic night for two, family occasion or special event, you won’t be disappointed!
Very friendly staff. Great food with a fabulous choice of entree, main and a few desserts. Great price. Will go back again and take friends. Aircon was a little cold, that's just being picky!
The restaurant was booked out for a 1 year old birthday and the finishing of the inside is very unfinished. The food was delicious and service was good though.
