The buffet offered lots of great vegan options and you pay by weight so you don't feel obliged to eat more than you want/need as can happen is regular buffets. It is very inexpensive. The food could have been hotter but I think we came later than most people.
I organised a group lunch at Green Gourmet for 15 people. Perfect venue for group functions, as it is spacious and they can put tables together. Great to share food on the lazy susan. Very happy with the venue. The food is cheap and cheerful. The dumplings and buns were all handmade. The Cha Siu Bao is the item to try for first timers. The bun is made of wheat flour, yet still light and fluffy. Other must have item is the shantung ‘chicken’. Reminds me of the real dish, except way healthier with the vegetables and mock chicken. The addition of the pickled cabbage brought the dish to the next level. Well done to the chef who perfected this recipe! Overall, good experience for the group and would recommend to others.
