Great service, great location, great food and good selection of food.

Thoroughly enjoyed our experience. We came for a quick meal and it was perfect for what we were after, even got myself a cocktail pre movie! Will definitely be back again next girls movie out :)

Service was very slow. Food quality wasn't what I expected. My Caesar salad was imbalanced (too much bacon not enough lettuce) and expensive for what you get and the pizza base was bland but the topping had too much cheese. I'm guessing the lunch chef is still learning??

Within 45 minutes of starting a 7:30pm dinner we began being rushed out, with the explanation that the kitchen was closing as it wasn't busy.

We love this restaurant, always a fun casual experience, it was busy but as usual we had attentive friendly staff and our meals were delicious if not a bit too big!

When you have a limited time frame due to going to the movies, Groove Train is the way to go. Excellent service, value for money and food quality. Happy to go back again soon.

Staff were rude, even the manager apologizing for her staff member was rude, orders were forgotten then they blamed us for their incompetence and food was average.

Steak was overly cooked, and we asked for medium. They happily changed it for us, pleased with that. Great service and food generally. Kids loved it too.

I’m a fan of Groove Train but the service was appalling on New Years Eve at Doncaster. We had to ask for menus, then we had to ask for water, then we had to flag someone down again to take our order. We had an ongoing joke with the table next to us about the terrible service. Luckily, the awesome cheap cocktails made up for it.

We received very good service from all staff ourselves, however a table next to us appeared to be forgotten a number of times and had to flag down wait staff to receive anything. Main meals were great, the cheesecake dessert from the fridge tasted like it had been sitting there for a while- would have been much nicer fresher. Probably won't bother with dessert there again.

The staff worked hard to bring everything to the table simultaneously for our party of ten and did a great job. The menu is comprehensive and the location ideal for a post movie catchup with friends.

Great night out, great food and entertainment. I had the hottie calzone and that was enjoyable, others had the calamari and that was tasty. Prices reasonable.

The food was really good. We ordered the salmon, veal parmigiana and the vegetarian pizza. The service was very good and atmosphere great. I would highly recommend this restaurant to friends and family.

The food was tasty, cocktails were refreshing and the service was excellent. Our waiter was very attentive and made sure we were well looked after.

First the Manager was accommodating and wanted to make sure we were happy, so I don’t fault him or the waitresses. The food however was really bad. My order was missing ingredients and my friends order which was fish and chips did not look freshly cooked, and according to her was soggie and fishy. I am afraid this is not the first time we had a bad experience at Groove Train so I am not sure if we would be eating there again.

The only criticism was the wrap on the souvlaki was thick and tasteless. Everyone else finished their meals. Service was prompt on a busy Sunday lunch.

Food was good and service friendly but slow. Lots of people looking around to get attention from wait staff. Drinks served in hot glasses, napkins requested but never delivered.

I used to love the carbonara here. Yesterday it was cheap, water and nasty bacon with steamed chicken. Fasta pasta standard. Blegh. Also all the staff have changed and the MD had no idea what was going on. So sad, I will return for a drink and the view but the food has gone to the dogs.

Family friendly, ideal for family dinner and reasonable price and good service. Handy location with ample parking. Highly recommended for family gathering or friend catch up.

We were disappointed last visit. We had to hunt down staff to order. After all that, the food was tasteless. The staff were nice though.

Ok for range of meals. Quality pretty average. Service was good and all fairly quick given that they were quite busy. Meal just disappointing in taste.

Ordered 2 cocktails and a veg pizza and dip platter, after over an hour our food still had not arrived and we watched tables around us receive their food. I asked the waiter who then went to check and then he came back and asked us "the kitchen would like to confirm what you ordered" We told him again what we ordered and he came back and said that sorry there was a mix-up and its on its way. He then offered us our next drinks on the house! I said that I can't have another as I'm driving so he said he would give us the ones we had on the house which was great considering the length of time we had waited for the food. 5 minutes later he then came back and said that he was sorry but his manager wouldn't let him give us our drinks on the house only 50% off. I felt sorry for him because clearly he messed up the order with getting it to the kitchen but then he must of told his boss who then who then said no. I felt embarrassed for him and annoyed that for waiting over an hour for a pizza and dip platter they couldn't even give us a drink on the house! Its supposed to be a fast service restaurant which is what we wanted so we had time to shop but instead it was long and the food was "ok".

The food was pretty good. Service was a little slow, despite the restaurant being less than half full. Also, some of the servers were not friendly.

Prompt and courteous service, excellent selection of food and beverage; and food served quickly and efficiently. Only thing I noticed this time compared to our last visit, was I needed to remind them to bring water.

Great atmosphere and views of the city. Comprehensive menu to please everyone no matter what you taste is. Food was served so quickly it blew me away. Would thoroughly recommend.

Friendly and efficient service with good food and good drinks. Only complaint from us was the chips with the parma, as they were a bit soggy. Overall a good dining experience

Could do with menu update staff very friendly and were attentive to the needs of our group not as noisy as usual so conversation was easier heard

Service was lovely, food was presented nicely and of course was delicious, we had happy tummy's all round, will defiently be returning to try other yummy dishes on the menu!

Great food and service. Not squashed in. Only downfall was the ladies toilet was out of order and we all had to line up to use the disabled one. Otherwise we had a great time at my 52nd birthday. Thanks guys

Extremely slow service, staff didn't really care we were there. Had to chase staff to place orders multiple times. Food wasn't over great either so was an overall poor experience

Even though we had made a booking, Groove train said we had no booking when we got there, but did find a table for us. Some of us weren't offered drinks. Incorrect drinks order brought to the table, chips were served cold. Wine order forgotten, but still charged to us on the bill. Not an enjoyable meal

Been there a few times.This place is always busy but great service. The food was good & waiters were very friendly. The menu could be reviewed though.

Food was outstanding with very quick service especially on Mother's Day. We had a movie to see and they made sure we had our meals on time.

Great service and friendly staff although no one came to ask if we wanted coffee after our meals; we had to find a staff member.

Always reliable food - a good solid spot for a quick dinner before a movie. I would happily bring my kids (6 & 8) here - lots for them to order and it seems very kid-friendly.
