The Groove Train - Doncaster

We had a nice night at Groove Train. The food was good and we were at a table right next to the window which gave us a great view.

We had great service (the waiter looked after us with a special cokctail; ate great food (Chicken Hokien Noodles were very nice); and got a lovely table with a view

staff are always helpful and food is always great. love the atmosphere and the accommodating staff who are happy to assist with any requests or concerns

Groove train Doncaster is fantastic food amazing. Went for breakfast great service and a delicious meal. Always friendly staff who are there to meet you on arrival

Absolutely disappointed in the service and the Food was appalling and really low standard. Will NOT be going there again. Totally disappointed especially being Father's Day!

great place for dinner with great friends. variety of meals on menu to choose from, mains were delicious and desserts were even yummier! would definitely recommend.

Booking through Quandoo was very easy. Upon arrival we were seated promptly and drink orders taken. Floor staff appeared busy but well experienced staff would be able to cope. For a table of nine, from first meal to last hitting the table, 17mins passed. Six of us had finished our meals before the last one arrived. A kids beef burger was the the 2nd last meal to arrive...generally a no-no in restaurants. For the whole time we were there (2.5hrs), we only got one round of drinks, no one took a second round order. One meal arrived, just about to start eating, had poked the chop sticks and a fork in to see the ingredients when the waitress came back and just took it off the table saying wrong meal. Meat noodle dish delivered to a vegetarian. I will eat there again if just myself or couple of close friends who are easy going but for a birthday where you want to pic something nice where everything will go smoothly...I would go elsewhere.

We had great service and a lovely lunch. Pizza was great and the base was perfect. Toppings enough. Hot Chocolate was also good. Friendly and efficient service. Love the menu, always great choices.

The Lamb was dry, food came out fast otherwise service was slow. The bill is only provided at the counter and no split bill so we had no time to sort ourselves out for payment. Very disappointing.

The food was okay (not great but not bad), however we didn't get our drinks until well after the food arrived and we had to ask for them.

Fast se Vice with high quality meals. Staff very welcoming and attentive. Staff often returned to check if additional beverages were required and how the food was.

We were warmly greeted on our arrival and provided with great service and appetising meals. There was a slight hiccup with our Groove Train card (not scanning as registered) but otherwise a very pleasant experience.

The service was great and the staff were super friendly. Food was awesome. Huge ceiling to floor windows making it dinner with a view. Fantastic experience overall, will definitely be back!

Yummy food but service was slow & noone asked if we wanted desserts/drinks after our meal even though we sat there for an hour +

Very good service from most staff (although we sensed perhaps new owners, and some newer staff). Food servings were plentiful but Curry was a bit bland, and meat skewers undercooked in the middle

Our main meal took an hour to come out after having to follow it up. Then the chicken was very dry. Disappointing. Staff was very apologetic.

It was great, no dramas, food was very good, service prompt & timely. So all good & no complaints from me. Have been several times and will go back again.

Service was a bit up and down (they forgot a hot chocolate but at least it wasn't on the bill), food was good and the atmosphere was good for a catchup with friends.

Good quick generous sized meal. Was able to use voucher from the Entertainment book so worked out in our favour. Fish and chips a little over cooked but still good. Vege burger ordered again by my daughter, tasty as it was last time she ordered it.

Slow and very average service. Staff were ok but hard to get a hold of throughout the evening. Good was of good quality for a shopping center

Good food, prompt service and a friendly environment. Booking was a breeze and we are always welcomed with a smile. Highly recommended for a casual dinner or lunch.

Food was nice, service wasn't as great. A staff member came to collect half our plates then half an hour later we had to remind them to clear the rest of our table

Great food, the group I took were all happy with their meals, generous sizing too. Slightly more expensive than it used to be, but still happy with the service we received. They allowed us to split the bill too which was appreciated!

Given the increased number of patrons due to Mother's day things were a little hectic but service, food were still of a very good standard.

I go to the Groove Train every couple of months for a catch up with girlfriends. There is always great service and food. It can get a bit noisy as it is quite busy.

Excellent food. Great service. Great staff. Would encourage all to go but make sure you book before you come and make sure you use Quandoo.

Friendly wait staff and quick, witty, fun service. Good sized, well priced and nice flavoured meals. Will go back for sure. Enjoyable night and good value.

Water wasn't offered. We had to flag them down to order and weren't checked on once when we were there for two hours. This was at an extremely quiet time too. Chips were soggy

I think we must have been invisible. The groove train could be so good given the location, but at present it is not. We had a great time though once we managed to wave down some customer service.

Great atmosphere and a good selection of food on the menu. Great for catching up with friends and family. Def a place will go again. Love the fact there lot of locations.

We were pleasantly surprised with the service and quality of the food. Thought with the Easter Sunday we may have been expecting a little less. Excellent.. Cheers

Normally a great place to eat. Do not recommend going when it is not busy......felt rushed, eating and drinking.....they were only interested in cleaning and packing up to go home. It would have been nice if they told us from the start they were going to close the kitchen early because it was not busy.

We've eaten here many times before and both the food and service has always been of a very high standard. Recommend it to anyone who wants to enjoy a good atmosphere with good food and fine service.

Amazing food :) Had a wonderful meal. The waitress got out order wrong but then they corrected it so was all good. Great atmosphere. Thumbs up :)

We've been to The Groove Train - Doncaster a few times now. Service was excellent. As soon as we got there, we were directed to our table. The waiters were friendly & very attentive. Food came in a timely manner. Food was great.

Our waitress was lovely, nothing was too much trouble. The food was great and we all loved it. We can't wait to go back again.
