We took guests from Sydney and they absolutely loved it. We always love it. All 4 different meals were great. Thank you for a lovely dining experience as usual 😃

The pasta was over cooked , the beef cheeks dinner was more like a stew . Very disappointed .

Food was great , drinks were great, kitchen was overwhelmed it took over an hour for our food to arrive.

Ordered Seafood Bouillabaisse which lacked flavour, there was another person who ordered this from our group who agreed it was lacking and the meal was expensive, both of us were disappointed but the location was lovely and the rest of out party were happy with their meals.

This pub is a cut above normal. Location, views across Lake Macquarie, atmosphere and service are all tops. Best hotel or club food quality and menu choices that we've experienced in the southern Newcastle area.

The week day lunch specials were good value. Weather was perfect and we enjoyed sitting on the balcony overlooking the Yacht Club.

We picked up an extra diner and the service team were more than happy to accommodate on a busy public holiday. Food was fresh and delicious.

Our meals and service were great even thou it was a busy night our meals didn’t take long to arrive

Overall food was lovely and tasty but our entree of spicy wings was cold to the bone and had to be sent back, second serving was good.

It was 'just' okay. The salt & pepper Squid & prawn entree was very nice BUT the linguine in my husbands main course was undercooked & chewy & prawns way overcooked, the rice on my girlfriends curry plate was cold & absolutely solid (couldn't break it up & would have bounced on the floor) & my pumpkin salad was okay & ample but very very oily & I had tummy pains later that night. The service was pleasant & helpful can't fault that. Toilets were disgusting & had faeces on the back of the seat & floor. Not a great experience AT ALL

Considering we dined the evening the new NSW covid restrictions came out we found our experience to be absolutely amazing. The staff were wonderful and super organised even when they had 2 hour notice to make sudden changes. The food and service was great and overall our dining experiemce was more than we could have asked for. We left very satisfied and felt safe and comfortable.

The staff were really friendly and helpful. Although we had to wait a little while for our food it was delicious when it came out 😊

The meals are good pub food and the serving sizes where generous for the prices. They were busy but when we ordered we were told there would be around a 30 minute wait on food. There was a large group in which were very noisy and the windows and doors were closed which mad it hard to hear others in your group talk.
