Really good quality of food. Not expensive at all. We liked the eel rices so much that we re-ordered an additional dish before finishing the first one. We definitely will come back.

Good food, friendly service, what more does a restaurant need?

Service was good but the sashimi wasn’t very fresh & the quality of the chutoro was a disappointment. The teppanyaki dishes were great. We ordered the duck breast & wagyu beef tongue which were both cooked to perfection.

We had the banquet for my friend's birthday and the food was amazing! Each dish was delicious, great quality and made very well. Mihoko was a great host and the staff were all friendly, helpful and very polite. We will definitely recommend Hana Jurin and visit again! Thank you team for a great night!

Friendly service and food is fresh, beautifully cooked and presented. To my disliking, serving size is rather small, making it one star less than perfect.

Good food but if you want the sushi omakase or teppan yaki you have to book on the phone not online. If you book online you will only get a normal table and can only order the a la carte.

Good cooking in a homey restaurant. My friend recommended the kimchi fried rice, and it is a very comforting dish, with generous slices of pork belly.

Service was great and the food was excellent, the sashimi was very fresh, we could see from the presentation the chef had placed thought into the plate.

Great experience. Friendly staff, fresh sashimi and great steak. The okonomiyaki is too complicated though, a simple okonomiyaki would have been just as good. Will come back!

We got the teppanyaki set A - the food was good, however, it came quite slowly at the beginning even though we came at 8 pm. It was a bit pricey, I think going for lunch would be of better value!

We had a lovely evening at this restaurant, all the dishes that arrived were beautifully presented. The sashimi we ordered were fresh and in nice thick slices. I like to judge a good restaurant by their rice, and it was very well cooked as well. My only criticism and it is very nitpicking is the slow pace of the dishes, I suspect this is on purpose as they were very good with checking up on us but perhaps it would have been better to ask us how we wanted our dishes to arrive. However, I will definitely return if I am in the area.

Food here is often delicious, but can be inconsistent and occasionally disappointing! The creamy miso scallops and prawns, when done well, is to die for.

Efficient service & convenient location. Quality higher than other Japanese restaurants in the area. Their chirasu sushi very popular amongst the patrons. Almost 30% of patrons ordered this dish.

Excellent quality ingredients, well prepared with friendly service. Outstanding dishes we had included the sushi platter with blue fin tuna belly, scallops drizzled with truffle oil and super fresh sea urchin roe, the seared wagyu and delicate, delicious chawan mushi. Unfortunately the teppan chef was away on our night and the sushi counter was booked well in advance but we will be back.

Beautiful fresh tasty food. Especially enjoyed the Modanyaki - closest we've found in Sydney to Hiroshima style Okonomiyaki (which is awesome). Great service. Will go back!

Food was fantastic, felt very authentic although I would've rated it 6/6 but the Chef kept coughing the whole time he was serving and prepping the food. If you're just call in sick and get a replacement, if possible.

The food was fresh and delicious and our waiter was very sweet and efficient. The option for teppanyaki bar, sushi bar or a la carte dining was appealing. We will definitely come here to eat again.

Always a lovely experience at Hana Jurin. Great quality, taste and presentation of food. The chirashi and tempura are two of my favourite dishes there. Wonderful service too.

Food is good, but we went on a busy night so kitchen was a bit slow in bringing out our order but that was understandable. So no worries. We will come back again as we weren't able to try the Omakase meal because it was full.

Best service ever, chef is very professional and the food is amazing! Highly recommend! But you have to book it in advance as the place get fill up pretty quickly.
