Hannibal Middle Eastern Restaurant

We couldn't order most of the entrees and they had run of out pastry and doe so no Kibbe, lady fingers, spinach pies, cheese pies etc. We also weren't told about it until when our mains were served .Why not send one of the 4 girls standing around doing nothing to the supermarket to get some? What we were served was very good ( the garlic lemon chicken was amazing) but was not enough as our entrees didnt come and it was too late to order anything else. The Mohito's t were great. As for the service, the girls were sweet , but unfortunately pretty useless. It seems that they have hired family friends instead of actual waitresses who know how to look after guests. As a waitress your job isnt done once you serve the food. Not once did someone around to the table to see if we needed anything., Also, if you order a Gin and Tonic and you don have tonic, don't make it with soda and expect us not to know ( we sent it back) . It seems Hannibals has become complacent and they are going through the motions and that's why the restaurant was barely full on a Saturday night. It needs new ownership by someone who has a passion for restoring the Hannibals legacy. 2/5

Amazing food and ambience and enjoyed belly dancing. Keep it up

The food was nice but pricey. However, our experience was not good in relation to the service we received. When we arrived, the venue was not busy at all and during our stay, it did not get busier. Despite this, we had to ask for a fork 3 times, then we ordered a red wine and got a white one instead. A red wine came out in a glass with lipstick on it. We sent that back and ask to have it removed from the bill. We get the bill, and the wine charge is on it. I actually had to insist to have it removed. We also had to wait a fair amount of time to have our order taken when there really wasn't that many people in the restaurant. I would not be going back.

Poor customer experience. Made a booking for 7.30pm and staff had no idea. Eventually got sat down at 7.40pm and waited until 8pm for menus to be brought to us. First lot of food arrived at the table with my friend’s beer, and I had to wait for 30 mins for my glass of wine (a rosé that was not chilled). Staff don’t seem to have been trained properly, with one of them coming to our table 3 times to cross check that she remembered what we ordered. Our shisha was given to another table, resulting in a lengthy wait for the replacement. We picked one of the 5 sweet options on the menu for dessert, only to be told that they only had 1 item available. Overall food was ok but the service was a total let down.

Great food, great service. Unfortunately the bifold doors are left open so the whole place was exposed to a very cold evening. We'll be back, but not until summer....

Used to be fab food at this restaurant but our recent meal at Hannibal was terribly disappointing. Food was bland & uninspiring. To give the owner his due he replaced the one inedible dish with a freshly prepared one & removed it off the bill but we wouldn’t return. With so much completion in the area there’s many better restaurants to choose from.

Good restaurant. Love the interior and food, but portions with the time got smaller. Staff is very welcoming but I think would benefit from some training.

It was our first time back at Hannibal after the new owner took it over, and it was great. The food, the Ambiente, and the drinks (Almeze Beer) were exquisite. Very friendly staff and the owner was very friendly too, we felt well taken care of. Big compliment to the chef! We will definitely be back.
