Happy Panda

Tasty food but need more vegetarian options. Staff were friendly and professional with very good service standards. Good variety of drinks - craft beer, cocktails, wine but you can't go past the rum and ginger with homemade ginger - yum! Cronulla needed a place like this, so very disappointed to hear it is closing down.

This was my 3rd visit to Happy Panda in as many weeks. We love the place! Even though a couple of our favourite items weren't available on this particular night, the staff accommodated and suggested other great options.

A beautiful little place with amazing food and wonderful service, such a shame it’s closing. I hope it pops up in a different place soon!!

Great food and service. I visited on a Friday night and the place had a fun atmosphere; loved the Tom Yum Yum cocktail! If only I had've discovered this place before I found out it was closing mid-November. I've booked again before they go!

Love this place, different dumplings and the tofu sliders are really good. Recently added new stuff to their menu keen to go back and try it again

Awesome service and food. Recommend to anyone who is keen for craft beer and some good chinese food. Blind bear downstairs to first the night off.

Cocktails nice and dumplings delicious. Korean fried chicken, delicious with extra cheese sauce. Waitress serving did not know how to promote specials deals on the menu. Eg Mix and match 3 different dumplings for $15. And charged us full amount of each dumpling dish, instead of the mix and match deal. When asked for a sweet cocktail recommendation, a citrus one was suggested.

Was a great place to eat. Service, food and atmosphere was great. Really lovely staff members that made the experience even more better. Highly recommend

Great cocktails, amazing food, service was A+ a restaurant to put on your bucket list. Just remember to book it gets packed. Definitely recommend the buns.

This was the first time I've visited The Happy Panda and the staff were all very nice and helpful. The dumplings we had lacked a bit of flavor though, the duck bow was delicious though and the san choy bow was really nice as was the cocktails.

Fantastic food, the staff are so friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommend the soft shell crab bao's and the duck loaded fries. Cocktails were also delicious!

The food, the drinks and the ambience was excellent. The service was really prompt and the waiters were helpful and friendly. We will happily be back again soon.

We were slightly disappointed with the dumplings this time. The fillings were on the bland side and really chewy. The cocktail jug was also rather weak with a lot of ice. Service was good, food and out reasonably quickly. We had an average meal, but good enough to try again.

Great restaurant, ambience was great and the food was great quality. There was a big group sitting next to us but we were served in a timely manner with great service.

Happy Panda is always great - we love going there - the waiter/bartender is always super friendly and food is always excellent! We'll be back soon.

Great little local dumpling bar! I preferred the old menu but some great new ones to try, especially the Bao’s :)

Fun atmosphere, great food and cocktails, friendly service. Tucked away behind a hidden door in Cronulla. Have a Pre dinner drink downstairs at the blind bear too!

Enjoyable place to have a drink & casual feed with friends. Dumplings, san choy bow & soft shellcrab buns were fantastic. The unique gin based chilli litre cocktail was great.

Walk through the telephone-booth door and get taken to an Asian themed hideaway with a delicious selection of Asian dishes. With the cocktail list to accompany, you'll have no shortage of tasty options to choose from. Still want to get your Aussie craft beer fix? By all means, duck downstairs to the Blind Bear, get your desired beer and return. Fantastic must-go venue!

We had spicy edamame to start. Followed by a lovely variety of dumplings, bao, and buns. Great atmosphere and a selection of cocktails by the jug.

Happy panda is a neat little restaurant in Cronulla with food that is easy to share over a few drinks. Delicious food, attentive staff, fun vibes.

Great for a fun night out. Different flavours in dumplings. A little on the pricey side on the food for what you actually get. Yum cocktails.

A nice and cozy restaurant. Amazing food and great service. Highly recommended the Peking duck fries and Nutella bun for dessert. Will definitely be going back!

Great space, service and food. Happy Panda is a hidden gem. Enter via the back of the Blind Bear and through the phone box and upstairs you will find a beautiful little restaurant with great staff and tasty dumplings. We will be back.

Most amazing dumplings ever..... not what u would expect..... very modern twist on a very traditional food. Cocktails to die for as well. Loved it.

Terrific! Great food, service and cocktails. We live locally but often eat out in the city, so we were thrilled to find something in the Shire with a real city vibe. Highly recommended!
