Great service and fantastic beers on tap, winning the Fridays!

The barman must have been having a pretty bad day. He was not happy at all. We all have these but maybe he should have stayed at home - or not have been given a client facing role that day as it brings your mood right down.

Nice pleasant atmosphere. Great beer and good food. I’d go again.

Great pub and beers as usual but had a very poor meal experience. 4 of us ate - 3 meals ok but one meal (rump steak) was inedible - twice . Ordered it medium rare came well done - sent it back for a replacement . Full half hour later it came medium rare but tough as old boots . Tried to eat some but inedible . Left over half the meal - first time done that in Australia and I’ve been here 33 years ! very disappointing as was the staff interest in this - they weren’t !

Always a great selection of beers, and decent food too. Harts is my go-to pub for easy fun dinner and drinks nights.

Very enjoyable, great pub, friendly and efficient staff. Food menu could be a little more diverse/appealing, but this is an observation, not a complaint.

Ideal place for a quiet meetup between friends on an a Sunday afternoon.

Great time! The beer was awesome, the food was awesome and the staff were awesome! Will definitely go again! Hart’s pub is a great pub which never disappoints! A must go for the rocks region :)

Our food took over an hour to come out, which was frustrating as we all had meetings to get to. Harts Pub shouted as a round of drinks though to apologies, which is a nice gesture but I find the food always takes a long time. Burgers were great though.

Went on a very warm day but the older building was fantastically cool. Excellent drinks (the beers on tap change constantly) - food menu needs a refresh though! Maybe update the burger ingredients? Different buns as well perhaps - sourdough?

We went for a team lunch. It was easy to book and i received a courtesy call to check on the booking the day before. Really good food, and we didn't have to wait long for it once the order was placed. They have a great range of craft beers and cider on tap was delicious. Friendly and helpful staff too.

I enjoyed delicious beer and onion rings at the sofa seat on the second floor. There are many more famous pubs nearby, but we became favorite of Harts Pub. I would like to ask again!

Great atmosphere, great beer, great service. One of the best pubs I have visited in Sydney and it’s located in a very iconic part of town.

Great venue, with a great choice of craft beers topped off by great staff. I would not hesitate to recommend Harts Pub for any social occasion.

The beer was good. There was a buch of noisy people at the next table. They overflowed and intruded in an uncomfortable way. The place was not busy and they could have found a more suitable location. They were very loud! One on particular had a loud cackling laugh, like the reincarnation of the Wicked Witch of the West. I left.

The staff are the real deal and made us feel very special. I will be back. No sweat. Thanks. Great work Harts Pub. Well played.

Amazing as usual - didn’t want to leave. There are some new beers on tap (courtesy of a new owner) which are just superb. The pulled pork burger was an excellent accompaniment to my crisp lager and flavoursome IPA.

Great range of beers that you wouldn’t find anywhere else. The beer garden and food are great on a sunny day. Gets busy around lunch time but settle in for the afternoon.

I liked the place but some of the food wasn't great and was a little overpriced for what we got. Fish and chips had a lot of batter and little fish inside and that was $26. Greek Salad was average and had pasta in it.

Superb selection of beers good burger with chunky chips in an historic setting. You can reserve a table which is recommended on a busy Friday night. Service was also great. Love this pub...

It’s usually awesome here but today was a little slow service-wise at the bar (they only had one guy serving). They do have a new set of sensational beers though! Outstanding atmosphere as always and the food is a perfect match for one of the tap lagers which has fast become my favourite.

I organised an event for a party of 14 people as part of a social catch up on a Saturday night at the Harts Pub, and was very impressed. The customer service was very friendly and helpful and food of high quality for a reasonable value. Would definitely recommend for a causal catch up for groups!

The staff were extremely friendly ,the food was really good we had the share plates , the atmosphere of the pub was great & we really enjoyed our lunch !

Great food, service and beer selection. Awesome heritage listed building in The Rocks. Happy hour 4.30pm - 6.30pm, when you get pints for schooner prices

Amazing, easy to book experience. Great food, ambiance and beer! I booked about 2 hours before so was surprised to get in - do yourself a favour and luxuriate in an old fashioned pub. Service was excellent.

Food was good and well presented. Had to wait around a half hour or so to get it but to be expected Friday night. Price reasonable. Had to struggle a bit to get staffs attention

We had a lovely lunch! The service and food was great! we had a mixture of mains and share plates which were big enough for a group lunch!

Amazing staff and food. We went in to a fullly booked restaurant and they got us a table in 45 mins. Exceptional in every aspect

Service was friendly and willing. Food was good enough without being special. One of our group was served salad instead of the menu listed vegetables. Kitchen was taken to task about that . Bench seating desperately needing recovering. . And unfortunstely we had the loudest laughing young woman at the next table. Even the staff found her a trial. . They did look after our group very thoughtfully including compensation for the kitchen error.

It was a comfortable setting, rustic. The service was great, friendly staff & enjoyed a nice cheese burger, salad & chips. Lovely bottle of Pinot Noir.

Good food and great beer selection. Place needs a bit of TLC but rustic and nice regardless. My daughter loved the prawn twists. Substantial and tasty meals.

Great location, great food and great beers! Would reccomend Harts for anything wanting to have a fun time with friends. Make sure you book a table though as they can be hard to come by

Great food, great beer! I’ve always enjoyed the atmosphere, great lunch crowd, very nice old pub. Would recommend it. Spicy bbq burger was great, the prawn/calamari salad looked scrumptious too.

The food was very well prepared and a reasonable price though $7 for a bottle of mineral water was steep. Also it is too noisy and seating is cramped.

Having never set foot in this establishment we weren’t quite sure where to go. There are multiple rooms and doorways, so we asked at the bar downstairs & were directed upstairs. Once upstairs not sure where to go or who to ask. Found someone who directed us to a table. What next? Are there menus, do we order at the bar? Couldn’t hear ourselves think above the noise of the pack of braying hyenas next to us. Decided it wasn’t for us & promptly left.

Excellent rib eye on the bone. Great selection of beers. Did see a dead cockroach inside though. Use clipp app for discounts. The menu at the pub is slightly different to one on the website.

Great selection ofbeers on tap! That in itself makes Harts pub worth going to. And food was good too! Give the Reuben a miss though.
