We had a great lunch, taking advantage of $5 taco Tuesdays. Tacos were delicious!

Food was very expensive for small portions. Some dishes were great, others quite bad - like the paella. Drinks were more worth it.

The food wasn’t good. The al pastor tacos were unseasoned and barely any meat plays mushy. The fajitas had no flavor and the meat was tough. Very disappointing

We did the bottomless brunch, and overall, the service and food were good. Would had probably been easier to offer jugs of alcohol that could be shared on the tables, instead of individual drinks each time. The staff were friendly enough, and the food was good.

My family and I came here for the first time for my birthday today. The food was delicious, drinks were great too. I enjoyed the non-alcoholic Horchata (which was refreshing and sweet), Beef Chimichangas and Chicken Quesadilla. My partner and I will definitely be coming back when I'm no longer pregnant to try the margaritas ❤️

Greeted with a smile, but the service at the table suffered from there. We sat outside on these 2 seat sofa style seats... the table was taller than us!! The food was good, can't question it... but it all came out in patches to start and then everything landed on our table... the table wasn't big enough. We also ordered a sangria... it was sour. It was like the wine (cheap) was off. But the food tasted good, and that's important.

Staff wanting to clear plates while people Still eating. Loud setting up and moving of a table and chairs next to us. Did not make for a pleasurable night with chairs and tables being scrapped on the floor.

A lively, colourful atmosphere with delicious margaritas, food and friendly, staff who manage to balance assistance without being intrusive. Thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

Staff were not friendly or attentive AT ALL, not even trying a little bit. We felt like an inconvenience to them. Our table was extremely wobbly, so when we asked to be moved or a replacement table (there were plenty around) it took forever to get a response so we ended up saying don’t worry about it if it’s too much hassle, the music was so loud we were yelling and then finally the food came out in dribs and drabs so our group all ate at different times. The only redeeming factor was how good the food was, but not redeeming enough for me to ever go back. Plenty of other Mexican restaurants in Melbourne that tick all the boxes.

As with every other meal we’ve had at Hecho En Mexico, the food was delicious however the customer service was sadly lacking. We were shown to our seats and quite sometime later our food order was taken. There was no offer of a drink prior to us ordering our meal. The food came and we enjoyed our meal but again there was never an offer of another drink and even after our dishes were cleared, no offer of dessert or more drinks, so sadly we gave our dessert money to another business nearby. No one acknowledged our leaving and frankly I don’t think anyone really cared if we were there or not. We dined there twice over the weekend and had similar experiences both times. I love to hear a response to our feedback!
