I've been in Melbourne for two years and hadn't stumbled upon a decent Mexican restaurant until we gave Hencho a shot. It's absolutely fantastic—I'll surely be spreading the word!

It is slightly loud otherwise, there is great ambiance, delicious tacos and fabulous margarita!

Perfect meal, food was fabulous and the atmosphere was great. The birria tacos did not disappoint and we all agree it’s the best Mexican we’ve had outside of the USA.

We are very happy with the overall service and delicious food. Vibe of the restaurant was great, music was pumping but not so loud that you couldn’t talk. Would recommend, will return.

Pros: - decent value - horchata, nachos, and chimichanga was nice Cons: - seated outside next to the alleyway, so unfortunately the smell of the garbage wafted over - long wait times and staff were very busy so it felt like we were forgotten a lot of the time and had to make requests multiple times - burrito was cold in the middle
