Amazing food and drinks. Great atmosphere and fantastic service from the staff.

It was great experience for my date on my anniversary

Service started out friendly but it took them more than 10 minutes to take our order. Asked for street corn and taquitos be brought out with the main tacos but we got the street corn after 5 minutes. Seemed odd and we waited 10 to 15 minutes for the main and then they forgot the taquitos saying it was a mix up. In that waiting time I really did think about just getting up and leaving as it was ruining the valentines dinner. The table next to us was served very promptly which made me feel like we were given poor service based on looks. But thats just my perception/opinion. The downstairs dining area is very squishy almost fat phobic. I'm not sure if I would come again now after the second visit which is a shame because the food is so good. The first time i came for my birthday and I hate tequila but the birthday shot I was given was water with a drop of tequila as I shooted it with no disgusted face after. They also mixed our bills up with my birthday dinner too. It's very hard to want to recommend your restaurant now I'm sorry to say.

Very good food, cocktails and service are good. Jalapeño popper very nice. We just wish we had a table outside and enjoy the crowd better. Cheers

First time dining here. Nice atmosphere. The Margarita jug was yummy. The quesadilla was generous. The Fajitas were good, but the tortillas that came with them were a little bit small for the filling. Fair prices. We will be back for sure 😋

It was the most amazing Mexican food I’ve had in as long as I can remember. They do a lot in a tiny space and the staff are amazing. Food is ready super quick and the margaritas are epically tasty. You won’t be disappointed I promise.

Isabella was an absolute delight as our server. The food and drinks were incredible. Served timely and utterly delicious. The stand out was the care and attention from our server Isabella. 10/10. No notes.

A disappointing lunch experience, with the service very poor. Half the table ate and completed their dishes, while the other half waited and watched. Even after prompting the wait staff on this issue twice, the remaining meals came out eventually, with the food taste and presentation being "okay".

The food was delicious. I've lived in Mexico and and can say there's some authentic flavours! The margaritas were a hit as well. Customer service great! Very friendly staff. I look forward to going back to try more of the menu. I definitely recommend a visit.

A wonderful experience. Food was very well presented, great flavours, and generous portion size. Margeritas were very good, but a tad sweet - could dial back the sugar syrup a little. Service was gracious and efficient. Could not have been happier!

Had a fantastic time at Hecho En Mexico, celebrating a birthday with some girlfriends. The service was impeccable and the food and drinks were on point. Excellent night out, we were sad to leave.

Really enjoyed our meal. Funky little place. A table for two a little small if you have a few dishes. I would revisit.

Tables were so tightly packed that I was seated closer to the person on the next table than my partner. Not what we wanted on a date night. Decided to leave a find somewhere more intimate.

The meals were okay however we did not appreciate having the eftpos machine shoved in our face for payment at the same time as clearing the last plate on the table. We checked and we had only been there one hour so it was not excessive. We would have stayed and had more drinks or desserts if this didn’t happen. Your staff definitely need more training in etiquette

We’re a couple from a small country town who rarely get a night away—especially with four kids at home! On a rare date night in Adelaide, we stumbled across Hecho en Mexico completely by chance… and we are so glad we did. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with such friendly, genuine service. The restaurant itself is beautifully decorated with vibrant, authentic Mexican flair—so much care has gone into every detail, and it shows. The food was incredible. You can really taste the authenticity in every meal. And the drinks were just as impressive—delicious, refreshing, and thoughtfully crafted. To top it off, the prices were very reasonable, which made the whole experience feel even more special. Thank you, Hecho en Mexico, for giving us such a great kick off to our date night. We’ll be raving about this to friends and family back home—and we’ll definitely be back next time we’re in town. – Grateful parents on a rare night off ❤️🌮

Food was good but not great. No salsa on the nachos and one missing guacamole. Small area for dining, hard for wait staff to get around to all tables. Had to ask for birthday treat that was listed on website. Good night, not a great night

The lady behind the bar looked quite grumpy and was complaining about speaking in English. Not very nice. The food was good though.

Food and drinks were delicious! Customer service could have been better, didn’t get any table water or asked if we wanted more drinks.

Terrible service, reminded us they had another booking and we were on a time limit. The restaurants was next to empty. Took at least 20 minutes for chips and guac to come out? Didn’t take the rest of our food order, forgot our drink order - overall a terrible experience and will not be back.
