The starter was raw and removed from the bill. One of the mains was nothing more than chewy fat, the duck was ok. The chow main was nothing like described and the noodles were literally burnt black The staff did not seem to care

Fantastic meal! We thoroughly enjoyed every course. My Wasabi prawns were tender, and my husband loved his stay prawns. Try the salt and pepper veggies - eggplant, mushrooms and beans!

A bit disappointed actually Felt as though the food has lost a bit of love Beef and black bean was bland Szechuan prawns didn’t have the flavour this dish used to have , these 2 felt as though they were just reheated . Sizzling Mongolian beef came out like it was put on a cold hot plate . Sweet and sour pork was (as my 10 year old daughter commented ) not as good as nannas at home Honey chicken was as honey chicken is Special fried rice was very nice Overall , my family was not impressed, would be great if you could get back to cooking how I remember it being (amazing) Maybe next time

Very disappointed, we ordered our food, everyone got their entree, we wait a few minutes, then we enquired a few times, instead of my entree I recieved my main. Everyone's main came out, I still did not have my entree. I asked for my main to be returned to the kitchen, stilled waiting for my entree. Finally my entree arrived. Then my main came. No apology. Not sure this is a five star resturant. Will not be returning

The food quality was not great. Crab and duck was dry. Very little in the San bo chow other than mince. Stewy flavour. Not much bacon on the kilpatric oysters. Definitely not the standard of years gone by.

Overall place looking a bit run down. Toilets need updating. Understaffed on night. One person received their entree whilst the other six waited another 15 minutes. Had finished our shared main meals when the last meal was delivered. Food and value for money good.

Wait staff were excellent, food was awesome, waiting time was on par, dining noise was as expected in a busy restaurant, hard to control that so no complaints. We were seated in the perfect space for our group and well looked after. When we ordered on the go, staff were prompt and happy to attend to our needs.

House of chow is one of the best restaurants I’ve ever been to! The food is absolutely amazing and well priced. I often go with a group of people and we all get different things and share it around, and I can honestly say I’ve never had a bad meal! Highly recommended.

Haven't dined here for a number of years but has lost none of its appeal. Great food & excellent service

Overall, it was great and I did really like all the foods that we ordered, especially the salt and pepper squid. We had our dinner last year, and we came back yesterday as the taste was truly unforgettable and incomparable to the other restaurants I've visited in Adelaide so far. The service is really awesome, starting from reservation, reschedule and birthday surprise. I really recommend your restaurant to other people. Every thing is pleasing and satisfying.

I hate to have to do this but the food was far below our expectations . Starting out with some steamed dim sum that were tough , dry and definitely not fresh . Followed by crab claw that was completely void of any flavour except the day old oil it was cooked in . Thankfully the Peking duck pancakes were at least enjoyable , still not near expectations or quality that other nearby restaurants serve .. very disappointing all round . Not recommend

Our Waiter was absolutely fantastic. He let us change the banquet around to meals of our choice and when dessert came out he had a candle and Happy Birthday written in chocolate on the plate. No one told him we were there for a Birthday, but he noticed a card being exchanged and acted accordingly. It was such a great experience. You can't beat excellent customer service.
