Service and food was excellent. Arancini, mussels, veal, lasagna and pasta were all excellent. A wonderful little neighbourhood restaurant.

Excellent food - added roast potato to the duck with brilliant beetroot mash - so good!! Brought a 2017 St Peter’s cool climate Shiraz - perfect. Dining experiences are generally dominated by skill and friendliness of staff - our waitress was absolutely fantastic!!

Staff were very friendly, helpful and polite. The atmosphere was very relaxed with low noise levels. Lighting levels were exactly right and the restaurant was not crowded. We all had an enjoyable evening with some of our party interested to return as it was their first visit. Very good value for money. BYO.

Dinner with the family was made special by the owner and the team at Il Sogno. They are attentive and made perfect recommendations for the vegetarians in our group. Desserts were enjoyable as well. Good food, Good service, Five Stars for overall dining experience. Will go there again

Everything about my visit to Il Sogno was terrific. Service was great, decor was nice and the food was delicious. Menu has recently changed and ican thoroughly recommend the arancini balls and the lamb shoulder. I will definitely be back!!

Really enjoyed our evening and our meal. Appreciated the very extensive menu. Arancini were really good. Love byo option. Scallop entree- scallops delicious, pea puree great, would gave preferred the chorizo flash fried than cold. Veal main- really delicious, was a large serving, couldn't finish it all Lamb back strap good, only concern was it was a little over cooked -more medium than the requested medium rare. Excellent flavours.

Wonderful food and waiting staff. Would be reluctant to return however owing to lack of ambience. If had softer lighting and background music would create a more inviting and intimate mood. Otherwise beautiful local restaurant

Ash was very approachable and went to a lot of effort to accommodate our specific dinner function requirements. All 8 of our group thought the food was fantastic and very reasonable corkage fee. Will be back!

Arancini and whitebait starters were delicious. The calamari was overcooked and tasteless. Service as usual was excellent. Just a bit disappointed in the calamari.
