Wonderful food, absolutely delicious fine dining but still affordable. Good service and outstanding menu with appropriately chosen wine menu. It will completely change how you think of Indian food. Highly recommended.

Pros delicious food presented beautifully Wonderful ambience Cons Cramped seating Failed to note we need a high chair was placed in the most high traffic spot so was uncomfortable all night We had. A set menu, failed to explain what’s included. Didn’t get raita until the meal was over. Things that can be improved upon. The expletive will be much better next time.

The food is amazing. Excellent presentation and great taste. A modern twist on Indian cuisine.

Food is delightful - the best combination of flavours thanks

This was our first visit to this restaurant. We came based on recommendations from friends. The road at the front of the restaurant was being replaced as part of a council project and the street was blocked off. This meant the street was very quiet with most of the shops and eateries closed. Quite sad to see, albeit temporary. So Javitri was quiet But we had fantastic service and the food was modern Indian and presentation and contents of each dish quite unexpected and very elegant and delicious. Amazing! And my husband who was the only one to have coffee said it was an exceptionally good coffee And the decor is also attractive, with subdued elegance. All in all, a very nice dining experience. We will return!

Comfortable table for four to accomodate dishes.(suggest request double table more than two). Good service. Variety of choices. Tasty food.Great presentation.

Food was well presented and service was excellent. Vegetarian dishes were delicious. Meat dishes were disappointing, particularly beef cheek which was overcooked and dry.

Very tasty fusion Indian food. Could improve menu variety (mains options mainly). Some plates (eg rice, naan) are quite expensive for size. Will go back.

Meals pretty but too small. vindaloo was not spicy hot, left those who ordered it wanting one from some other place. on their web site it showed a great looking lamb shank but when we ordered at 7.20 on a Saturday night they had already ran out, considering that they have a very limited menu it was quite disappointing. The service was good though.
