Went with wife & 2 kids (4yo & 1yo). Ordered velvet pancake, brekky, bagel with beef, iced coffee, iced matcha & apple juice. Food & drink we're generally good but not the best. Atmosphere was good, not too crowded. Will go back & try other food & drink.
Kava Cafe is a fantastic neighborhood gem, would recommend it. The Spaghetti Marinara is one of the best I have tasted, very simple but full of flavour.
Excellent meal very good menu and value for money, we will definitely return to Kava Café. Good service and water replenished as required. Very good all round!!
Great food, friendly staff, excellent service, extensive menu. We had the days special which was delicious. We will definitely be regular visitors to Kava this summer.
We enjoyed friendly and efficient service as well as very tasty pizzas and a nice selection of wines to choose from. The coffee is good too
Delicious food, I wish we lived closer!! The garlic pizza bread was amazing.
We had one of the nicest dinners out that we have had with our kids (2,5 and 7). The food was great - even the kids were telling everyone about it the next day and the service was excellent. The kids could watch the pizzas being made and going into the oven and the staff were all so friendly and put up with all the questions very patiently - my oldest daughter came away saying that she wants to work there when she grows up and make pizzas! Thank you for a very enjoyable evening and a lovely dinner. We particularly loved the 'make your own' antipasto - such a good idea!
Please don't tell every one about this fantastic little neighbour hood gem
It is obviously a popular spot and when we arrived was humming. As a result, service was a bit slow, but staff were friendly and happy to accommodate food allergies. the food itself was adequate, the pizza seemed to be the best value and option. I thought $7 per bottle corkage was a bit steep and next time will probably just buy from the wine list which seems reasonable.
Very nice pizza it's just a little bit noisy when there is a big crowd.. staff are very friendly.. will go there again and try their pasta next time .
Had the pancakes - not bad but they were a little doughy/starchy and not as fluffy as pancakes normally are. The steak sandwich was nice and they do good smoothies/juices.
This would have to be one of the best neighbour hood gems that you would come across in Perth. Very solid team operating this restaurant.
