The Service was great from the people working this night, very attentive, food didn't disappoint.

Waited over 5 minutes to be seated as staff ignored us and kept serving the bar. Food took ages to come, 2 schnitzel and 2 nasi Goreng, the Nasi was tasteless, the beef skewers were burnt on the outside and raw in the middle. The fried egg was cold and burnt underneath. It was terrible. Having had this many times before, I don't know what they did but it was awful. A disappointing evening.

A spur of the moment decision to go out to the Kewdale Tavern for dinner. We chose their Nasi Goreng on the menu and it’s one of our favourites. Delicious with lovely service.

I am gluten intolerant so it’s fantastic to find somewhere with so many gluten free options! We will be back!

Apart from the table needing wiping, it was an excellent meal, the food was so delicious, love the jus & the steaks was cooked perfectly. Needs a bit more garlic on the garlic bread though l.

Been numerous times before and been very happy, this time the staff were great , but the food was very average 3/10. Gold Band Snapper was dry , probably from the freezer and not local product, the mussels were terrible, fell apart, overcooked and again probably from the freezer, the steak sandwich was supposed to be pulled beef, it came out as a dried , burnt , unedible meal. The Asian dish had dried, tough chicken . Couldn’t believe out of 4 meals none where even average, think twice next time.

Always great customer services at the Kewdale so no complaints there at all. We sat in the restaurant for a Bday dinner and it was ridiculously loud. I'd expect it to be noisey if you were in the main pub area but not in the sectioned off area. Would be great if something could be done as it ruins it for the oldies a lot so we will need to find somewhere else to go when inviting the grandparents as they ended up not talking as they couldn't hear anyone. Food was only okay this time. Not as great as previous times and we visit every few months. Maybe a new chef? Thanks for your time.

Two of us ordered a medium rare steak and it was spot on. Correctly cooked, tender and I asked for mash instead of chips - no problem. The rest of my group had lamb shanks. The meat just fell off the bone. Was a bit small but very tasty.

We often go to the Kewi and have always been well looked after with excellent food and service.

Staff were amazing as they always are but the food has gone downhill. We used to dine at least every Perth trip but the last few times we haven't enjoyed the meals. We decided tonight with both my husbands and myself barely eating any of our food that this was the last time we will go there. My fish didn't smell right and was way too oily also seemed like old oil. My husbands lamb shank lacked flavour so he barely ate any. I ate my salad though that was good at least.

We decided to go back to the Kewdale Tavern after not having been for awhile. The menu has plenty of choice and the food and service was lovely.

Staff were friendly, efficient, thoughtful! Food was below average Pad Thai noodles very dry, some burnt. Crispy Calamari, was soggy. Cheap Hoki Fish The steak was meant to be medium well, and was served medium-rare Grilled Chicken Burger half of the bun was extremely soggy, like it had been sitting in water! When we brought it to the attention of the waiter, the manger simply said they could put the chicken in a kids bun! Seriously - a soggy wet bun that was not caused by any of the ingredients is not up to standard and for a Manager to think that is acceptable - should actually be reported to the Health Department. As much as the staff were lovely, the Chef is more of an unqualified short order cook. We certainly will not be returning, nor recommending.

Our experience at the restaurant was average, with neither the food nor the service particularly memorable. A simple smile or even neutral service would have made a big difference. Unfortunately, we left without any good memories.
