Kid Kyoto is one of the best restaurants in Sydney - easy. Dishes are amazing and not ridiculously priced. Staff are great, music is great, never feels overly noisy. Can't wait to come back for my 4th visit!

Food very good-generous serves. Service could have been a little more attentive and it would have helped if there had been a more detailed description of the dishes being served as we chose the feed me option, but at times would have liked more info! Also I left a tip that I felt was quite generous and there was no acknowledgement- a simple thank you would have been welcome. Otherwise a fun place to celebrate my son’s birthday.

The staff were nice and friendly. The food was mostly excellent but there were a few dishes that were only so so. The fish could be fresher and the broccolini was too smoky but the watermelon sashimi was amazing

Atmosphere and the upscale ambience was amazing. Although, that was the only thing that was pleasant. Our server showed no hospitality nor friendliness. She has a cold impression the whole time and unresponsive to our questions about the food. Our cooked food was cold and bland; the miso chicken had pink area spots and just dull for the price it is. Our night was ruined as the server had placed the total into the ATM machine without giving a receipt. I had to ask another server to be given one when I decided she gave herself a $6 tip. I find it disgusting and deceiving that someone in this industry would give themselves a tip without the customer agreeing or asking. Would not recommend nor come back.

The waitresses were very stressed and forgot orders, did not clear the table, took a long time for everything - including getting the bill and finally paying at the end. They also had to be flagged down whenever we needed drinks, and seemed really busy despite the restaurant being at less than 50% capacity. Last time I was here, the service was much better. I won't be back because of this experience.

We had the deluxe omakase - a chef's selection of dishes from the menu. All dishes were tasty and inventive. We had wines by the glass, all of which were good. Service was reasonably good but not outstanding.
