I had a lovely lunch with 12 ladies all up for lunch on a Saturday - service was very warm and friendly; everything arrived in a timely fashion. Cocktails are fantastic and food was of a high standard.

First time at this establishment. Very nice experience. Busy bustling ambiance Great food. Good service! Will certainly visit again during summer in the day for lunch on the deck.

Dined recently and enjoyed this new eatery! We shared a vegetarian woodfired pizza which was very good! We then had the recommended pasta of the day freshly home made cooked nicely and very tasty. Also tried seafood dish which was nicely cooked and presented!All dishes were good serves! Wait staff lovely and attentive! Will definitely be back and enjoy a sundown while dining alfresco next time!

The food was good, but the restaurant is extremely noisy and there is no room between the tables and a normal conversation is impossible. I don't want to screem when I want to talk to the person sitting opposite . The waiter couldn't understand my order. i had to repete it twice and he brought the wrong wine. I won't go there again.

Special night out as wife's birthday, we arrived a little early and was seated quickly. Ordered starters and main and starters came quickly however the wait for our main was almost an hour, in actual fact i planned on walking out and paying for only what we had when an hour came up. Anyhow apart from this the food was of good quality cooked well and very tasty. The staff are good and the waitress that looked after us was very apologetic for the wait. They were busy however waiting that long for our main was ridiculous. Surroundings pleasant, clean etc. Price is on average, if you want similar meals but at less cost Sydney and Melbourne is the go. Would go again to La Capannina but only after they "pull their socks up".

I’ve been twice and ordered the same thing both times because the sauce and majority of pasta been delicious. Both times however there has been a significant amount of the pasta that has been raw not just “al dente” literally fresh pasta clumped together which has made me feel bit sick afterwards. Beautiful decor and friendly staff. Reasonable prices but have also found service to be slow. Table behind us 2 of them had finished eating before the other 2 got their meals.

We were a table of three, each arrived separately. All of us were made to wait in queque for a long time before we were taken to our table. I had the mushroom risotto which looked and tasted very ordinary. I wasn't offered parmesan cheese. The venue is lovely and so was the service.

Great view from the window. On a warmer day it would be fantastic to sit outside on the balcony. Food was very good and the wait staff were lovely.

True Italian cuisine with authentic food and waiting staff! While holidaying in Perth we made repeat visits at La Capannina and it's the first place I will be dining at whenever I go back.

Fantastic sevice, breathtaking views and great Italian food. Service staff were pleasant, attentive and offered good recommendations. I would recommend this restaurant to others as we will be dining there again.

Food was lovely a good atmosphere and the staff were very knowledgeable when asked about the drinks on offer. The atmosphere was buzzing without been too loud.

Love the food and scenery. Staff friendly. However we had to prompt a lot for our service. Left between entree and meals for 30minutes and hadn’t had been able to order mains or drinks. Just felt a little forgotten. Otherwise everything was great.

Nice location, inside very noisy (fortunately we sat outside), food was nice and well presented but nothing spectacular, service was welcoming and tried hard but forgot we ordered a second bottle of wine.

The food and service was great although booked early to ensure we would have a good table to watch sunrise. They first sat us inside with no view, then we were moved outside, again with a. Blocked view. Finally they sat us at a table with a view.

Disappointed initially as we waited 20 mins for a waiter to come to the table. When the entrees arrived I wasn't offered olive oil, and it came half way through eating the meal, same with the main, the parmesan only came to the table once I had started to eat. Waiters were also passing between our table and a big pot plant which wasn't ideal and at one point I was knocked with a pizza tray but the waiter didn't notice. The location is fantastic, the food is good, and the pricing reasonable but there are just a few tweaks that could make it exceptional. Also, it would be nice not to have to queue to pay for the meal at the till, rather bring the bill to the table.

We had grilled seafood and prawns and bugs were nearly cold- Not hot. Straws used for drinks not good & glass couldn’t shaped as jar not good for drinking out of

My favourite new Italian restaurant. Love this place , great food which is not over priced , and wonderful service. Squid Ink pasta with Manna Crab is a must !

Great food and service is excellent. This is the second time we’ve been here and not disappointed. Attention to our requests were met with ease and the service flowed even though the restaurant was full.

Had a lovely table and enjoyed the delicious food. We ordered the seafood mix and baked barramundi with roasted vegetables and finished off with 3 cappuccinos. Everything was delicious!

Standard of Food was poor ! Dishes was salty and smell of sea water !! Waited for an hour for main course to be served !

Dined on a Thursday lunchtime. The view is great, the food is excellent but the service could be improved. Will definitely make a return visit.

An great Italian restaurant on the beach. The food is delicious and the wait staff are enthusiastic and happy. A bustling and energetic atmosphere. Highly recommend the dessert pizza and a Limoncello. Great views and decor.

Excellent food and service, great atmosphere and ocean views. They have an extensive wine list, good selection of WA craft beers on tap and great sounding cocktails. Highly recommended.

sent an SMS to book and received no reply. When I rang the person I spoke to was rude and hung up on me. Found the food and the service great when we had dinner. The service did get slower as they got busier.

V ordinary service and food matched it. For a main tourist precinct not good enough. The waiters were constantly confused about where tables were and wandered aimlessly trying to match food to appropriate table.

Expensive and very small servings. The table for 4 too small to accommodate our order of a plate of pasta and pizza. Taste of food nothing extraordinary. Very disappointed celebrating my birthday here.

The Food was sensational and the service exceptional. Unfortunately, a cold draft coming through the balcony door and a table that was way too small to cater for 4 plates made the experienc a little uncomfortable.

Food was lovely. Unfortunately the service was slow and the staff were inattentive. The meals came out staggered, ie entrees came out one by one rather than altogether so at any one time one guest was left without any meal infront of them. I would hate to see what the service was like when the place was booked out.

If your looking for a place with an amazing view and delicious food than this is the place to try.... Pizza was perfect, pasta melted in your mouth and our waiter Marco was a darl so friendly with great service, he even got a blanket for me so I could still enjoy the view and keep warm... it did not disappoint, can’t wait to go back so much to choose from & cocktails were delicious so full but we still had to try desert, Yum...

We find La Capannina an excellent dining place. Food is delicious and has the true Italian taste. The service is also excellent and staff speaks in both English and Italian language.

Lovely food and great service! Great view too before the sun went down. Particularly good pizzas and the kids loved the kids menu and the Nutella dessert pizza.

Beautiful venue. However, waiters slow to take orders on a busy Saturday night, ravioli portion was too small for the price. Our reserved table was not yet available on arrival. But still, a pleasant evening.

Lovely place - food was fantastic. Only drawbacks are very small tables and uncomfortable chairs- originally we sat at a small square table for 4 people then asked if we could move and were told they were all booked out, then moved to a slightly bigger shared table but chairs extremely uncomfortable especially for older people like us. . Quite noisy but enjoyed the experience.

It was a Tuesday night and thety restauarant was full which was a good indication. The service was quick , polite and done very professionally. The meals we had were excellent and the drinks were well presented and tasty.We will definitely go back again

We were a group of ladies who meet monthly and we thoroughly enjoyed the food and we all commented on the good service. Will go again.
